I am asking for positive thoughts for my Daughters kittens, they were born yesterday but Missy ( the Mom) is in the Vets in a really bad way and may not make it, The Vet thinks that she was still so sick from inhaling all the smoke in the fire that she gave all she had to the babies, 3 of 4 are quite strong but "Puppet" is not doing well at all its name is Puppet cause so far its living in a sock inside everyone sweaters other than bottle and potty time,

awww, you have my thoughts for missy so ironic how my cat is missy also, we took her in and she had a nice litter


But in any event, i wish you the best with your missy and hope everything turns out ok, and if not just think she's left her mark with new kitties to take her place, but lets hope it doesn't come to that and mommy can be home for them

I got my lucy when her eyes weren't opened yet, and she is so spoilt now LOL.

a short update I called the Vet and Missy has improved a bit but hes not optimistic as he feels in a way that it could be a "last hurrah" but he did say if she continues at this rate she will be home on meds by late tom afternoon or Thursday
SO THANKS for the energy ya all cause power of positive thought may just be working!!
oh and they 2 Im holding in my lap are sooooooooo sweet! they ( Puppet & squeeker) were the sickliest so are getting a bit extra comfort and cuddling the other 2 are in a laundry basket in the wood room where its nice and cosy
LOL every time 1 of the 4 even make a peep my other critters all run to where ever they are!

a sad update the Vet just called and although he was discreat about it at the end he said plan on picking up Missy for burial tom am

THANKFULY for now all 4 Babies are doing great already have round tummies and are mewling for more food

THANKS ya all for the positive thoughts, We buried Missy yesterday and today we have to say Bye to Puppet, I guess his little body just wasnt strong enough, we are putting him with his Mommy and are praying over the 3 surviving

Im sooo sorry cyberfilly! how terrible, its a shame to lose like that, but think there are those other precious ones who are there and hopefully that will make it better. Its terrible how life must go through these times of losing dear companions, pets and loved ones. I hope you are doing well and your daughter with the loss, like grl said missy will be mewing through her lil ones, and for that, its a blessing

yes I know its a tad early for it but how it warms the heart to hear!
and they are already starting to open their eyes and getting the color points!
Im flabbergassted by how quickly these guys are growing! according to the books they are way ahead of norm!
btw color points is because they are 1/2 Siamese

Man I just have a feeling I may become the CRAZY CAT LADY cause its going to be sooooo hard to give these guys up!
