Hi Y'all,

Just wanted to wish all you webmasters a Happy New Year, and wish you peace and prosperity in the coming year,
We all ought to get together at a Webmasters Convention sometime somewhere this year and actually get to see each other.
Just a thought

I can't believe your parents let you run a website that involves cash and payments etc... If you livei n the US and someone sues you your parents are financially responsible.

I agree. That is pretty impressive to me. I thought I was young to be doing this.
Deek
Hey being young all the power to you, just wanted to make sure if you were in the US you kept your act together, do not want the FEDs at your door.

I'm 14 as well. Very responsible, my sites are extremley profitable and I have never had complaints.

I belive if someone wants a refund, they get it. Thats how I avoid any (legal) tangles.

I do live in the US, however, the feds wont do anything about it, belive me, youger peoples are encouraged to make money, I have a book here that shows teenagers how to start up companies etc (although, I dont need it be.gif )

For my site Trafficweb, I make about $100 when I advertise.
For my search engine... well, i'm working on that ai.gif
For ebay: $400ish every 2 months maybe.
D-Anabol
I've earned something like 400$ in the previous program. The program was online for a month.
I hope to earn more with the new one.

I'm 14 too - I WISH!!! LOL

I guess it shows the world of today - my 2 year old has been using the web for a couple of months now (not on her own obviously LOL). I think having a good knowledge of technology early is the only way the kids of today are going to have a fighting chance.

Best of luck to you all (including us older bods aa.gif )

The Webby convention - Nice idea aa.gif Don't think I can stretch to a flight to the US tho lol. The lottery ideas a good one - be a bit tempting to run away to sunny climes instead though hehe!
Spartaman
How about we all make ourselves a site. like... WebmasterConvention.com.

I can do the design.

With such a diverse industry, it may be a little hard for many members to meet. Where to meet? hummm.. would that be US or maybe half way around the world? (US person here)

Just looking at it from another point. If everyone lived in one country that'd be one thing... but with the world wide web, we are from Many Places. ac.gif But I do love the idea.

Much respect goes out to the younger WM's. Way to go at your age, keep it up and go places in your later years.

I myself am somewhat older. My 2 year old however, is already showing great interest in computers, she just loves the small lap top she got for Christmas. (nothing fancy!! just plays games/123's and abc's/pronunciation) But it is a start. (don't forget?. teach em' Spanish too!)

Our children must start early otherwise they will be left behind in this ever growing world of high tech.

Have a Great Day everyone! ab.gif
