I used e-gold very often and I don't understand why i received this.
Can somebody explain this?

I'm not sure, but could this be a scam?
Like somebody is trying to get your password with the link in the e-mail.

YOU SHOULD HAVE READ MY POST BEFORE YOU PLACED THIS, THE ONLY EMAIL YOU WILL EVER GET FROM E-GOLD IS WHEN YOU FIRST JOIN.. THEY SEND YOU AND EMAIL WITH YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER, BUT THATS IT... ANY EMAIL AFTER THAT IS NOT FROM THEM..

i also got similar emails
considering the one which says that they detected fraudelent activity in my egold, I believed it initially, thinking that they meant ezbucks and the other egold investement programs I used.
But these programs are legal, and also the message itself is not from egold
i never pressed any button
anyway
if you check the source of this message, i guess it shows that it was a hotmail account? not sure though
