In a couple of weeks I'm going to be away for the weekend. My yahoo mailbox will likely fill up and emails will start bouncing.
What do you do when you are away from a computer for a few days or longer?

well ive got one with lycos.com which ive had for just over a week now i think, and its going okay - but i wouldnt recommend it for the actual signup part of a program because the mail doesnt arrive very speedily. and a couple of days ago (maybe more - i forget what day it is) i got a lycos.co.uk one mainly for the fact that its got a lot of space - good for when u go on vacation.
lycos.com is 6MB and lycos.co.uk is 15MB.
i havent had any problems but i havent had it that long really. dunno if anyone else has had problems?

There are internet cafe everywhere. Unless you are not going to a city. You can still check your mailbox anywhere.

I'm going camping in nowheresville...definitely no access to a computer.
Plus, isn't the point of a vacation to get away from it ALL? I really don't want to have to check email during any vacation. This is not something that occurred to me when I was signing up for all these programs.
I wish there was a way to put programs on a temporatly hold. How hard would that be for webmasters to implement? This must be a problem for other people too. This trip is only a weekend; our favorite week long summer vacation spots are also a no computer access spots....
Any more ideas? Thanks.

I have a lycos.de account (15 MB) since over 1 year. Yes, sometimes a little slow, but i'm very happy with it.

I too am going away ( we'll be away for 6weeks) Unfortunately, due to the fact I can't pause my accounts, I am deleting those that I have 0 referrals. I think it would be a great idea if we could put our accounts on hold. I have forfieted earnings ( and caused a problem in Net Cash Depot thread because it became active again at the same time I cancelled my account)I have no idea whether I will be able to access a computer or not at this stage so I guess I just have to live with it (ugh!) The last time we went away, I came back to 597 e-mails and that was BEFORE I got involved in PTR. I think I may need a staight jacket soon - anyone got one spare?

I'll never understand why people READ threads that are 1+ years old, let alone REPLY to them

Edit: I mean, the first time, to resurect them. Not replying to the replies that resurected the thread ~_~;;

At first I didn't noticed the date of the first post so I was quiet surprised by seeing they were talking about a 15Mb mailbox
