No thanks. Anyone could use their picture as their own avatar. All you need is to make a 32x32 pixel jpg or gif file and name it as membership-number.gif (e.g. if your membership number is 1000, then name the file as 1000.gif or 1000.jpg) and send it to me by email. I will put it in a custom folder and only you could access your own image. All other graphics or icons will be accessible to the public.

Use an image editing software like photoshop to edit the image to the size of 32x32 pixel.

http://www.gifworks.com is a free place where you can upload your picture and edit it , if you don't have a gif program to edit your picture

thanks, ill have to have a play about with it wen i get time cos i cant seem to get the size of the pic right in order to load it up to gifworks. i have to email the picture to myself as a jpg to compress it then change it to gif.lol.

this is good to know. my avatar was too big, and someone else had to fix it for me. so now i can fix it myself if i ever change avatar again...
