If you read the thread entitled, "I just can't stomach Annies-biz any longer", over in complaints, it doesn't look like a done deal yet.

I havent sent out a formal announcement yet at Annies as I am still trying to put my computer back togehter ina sense, installing software, etc and still trying to decide if there is any other alternative.

Just got an e-mail from Annies with a link to a poll at her forum. The choices were:
1. Close site entirely.
2. Go to ads only.
3. Start over and reset everyone to zero.
The latter two were ahead a few minutes ago...anyway, I figured this was as good a time as any to push the "donate $10 to Annies" and un-sub. No hard feelings at all, it's just time for me.

Annies sent out an email earlier. You have options what you want annies to do. Ads only, close the site or reset all earnings to 0 and start over.
So what do you think? It doesn't matter to me.

So me not making a decsion at a good time for you, makes it ok for you NOT to notify me that Annies was being removed so I could notify members who dont come here?

Not really but with you making these kinds of decisions and not notifing us doesn't help either. We have seen this before you just making this kind of post tons of people run to redeem for an ad. It could be SAS, Searches, another ptp or site. It is not right for us to take that kind of increase in the traffic flow because you can't pay members. Not totally your fault but right about now I no alot of members would even be happy with a partcial payout. There are alot of people who click PTR to make a living because they can't get a job or they are disabled. Is that fair to them or anyone else? No it's not.
Sorry We have taken sites off the list for turning into Ad's only or being behind in payouts before without notifing the site.
Sorry

No desision has been offically made yet and therefore no one was notified, I did Fully expect to be removed from SAS for Annies, however My point is , I dont think its proper to not let a site know so they can inform members.
Is your post as an "offical" for SAS or a "member" of Annies?
aglaser

I do the approvedsites list for SAS. Yes it is not official but what choices are there?
You didn't give an option of trying to catch up on payouts or making a choice and saying ok members I can not afford to make all payouts so I will pay everyone pending 5% of what they are owed and call it even. Starting the site over. I no alot of people won't join or trust the site. And Closing would probably be the best choice.
I no I have really lost faith and so have alot of other members.
I also know that as soon as news like this comes out at a site that the requests for redemptions jump. Any ptp the member will at least make some money back. It's not much but the choice is no payout and a person is just about there or lose everything.
I no after clicking forever to earn 50$ on dial up so I don't do searches except once in a while and I won't get the 50$ so how many others feel the same.

My concern was that ANY site that is removed from the list should be notified so that they can inform members that dont come here.
However apparently your posts want to deal with your stats as a member of Annies opposed to someone who posted on behalf of SAS

I agree with you Andrea.
I clicked my butt of in Annies with no downline, cashed out right before Annie left. While I am on the list, it would prolly be 2007 before my turn would ever come.
The last couple of months I did mostly supportlinks or a few paid links still having just a ray of hope that maybe we will get paid.
Honestly conforming the site into an ads only site please spare us, I wouldnt give the timer the chance to expire.
If I would get at least 10 dollars out of the 50 I clicked I would be tickled. then just close it.
You are right about people rushing to redeem, but why would I make a search for someone, knowing I do not get paid, why would SAS pay someone with 2000 hits coming from Annies. They shouldn't. This is shifting the debt. Yeah we can't pay you, but here redeem for your SASlink, Rod will pay you then. Just as long as the screaming stops.
NO !!!! This nonsense has to stop. I hung around in Profitsharing after I had reached payout only to see it become an ads only, I quit.
I make plenty of money surfing, I get paid every week on the dot, hours after cashing out. I do not need Annies. Am I potty about losing over 50 bucks, you darn right I am. But I for one will not participate in redeeming anything, the money is lost. More surftime for me, at least I won't have to worry about logging in and being active.
As for people trying to redeem, yes you earned it, yes you want something to show for, but consider how many people will even give a hoot about an ad, when they know in the end they might as well watch grass grow, it is more productive.
Well I said my peace, farewell Annies, hello ExplorerHits my trusted friend, more time for you :-)
Kurt
edited to add: I unsubbed at Annies. It's time, let this program die!

No it is not. Sas doesn't need the site debt transferred. People will make redemptions for ads and get out of the program. SAS will not take on the debt of another site. That has been said more than once in different threads.
Sorry Why should SAS take the debt?
You could have also notified SAS of this so we could have removed the site before hand. Did you do this? No
You were over 120 days behind in payouts. Yes I understand you got a site that had too much debt when you took it over but then you should have made these decisions back then not 6 months later. You could tell in the first 3 months this was not going to work. Sorry I no you don't think this is right but there are over 1000 sites on the approvedsites list. If I take 200 off do you think I should notify each one when they can notify us before or when they make these changes so we can remove them. No I don't think so.

I would apperciate it if you would read my post instead of going on about PERSONAL Feelings .
I NEVER SAID I expected ROD to do any such thing, If you would TAKE ONE MOMENT and Acutally read what I said, this would be much simplier
I FULLY EXPECTED to be REMOVED from the SAS Approved List for Annies.
My concern when ANY SITE (not just Annies) was Removed from the list they should be notified, if you can take the time to post in this thread it would take not long to notify them they are being removed so they can Notify members!
So Please do not TWIST things around from me making a simple inquiry.
I did NOT have a pc for days as my hard drive crashed and only got back on line recently and havent made a 100% decision about Annies.
Editd as I forgot the word NOT

I did read your posts. And I have taken the site off the list. The thing is just posting that thread in the forum will do it tho. SAS does not need a rush of of people to redeem thier earnings for SAS ads, As just posting the poll will make people rush to do that. You should no this by now. Same thing has been happening for a while. It also happened back when ECF was open. You could have at least notified us of the posting before posting the thread in the forum.
This could have been stopped before it started. I no I even redeemed when ecf was still around like that if I no the site had no chance of paying. No I am not looking at this as a member of annies. I am looking at this as an Assistant of SAS.
I also removed a site yesterday as it changed from a paying site to an ads only site. No I didn't notify them, they should have notified us of the changes. It is not my job to go to 1000+ and notify them that since they changed and are no longer paying that I have taken them off the approvedsites list. Yes I do join alot of the sites on the list to see if they stay within thier own terms and there are some that do and some that don't. We are taking sites off the list and will continue to do so because of this.

Good move Andrea. Perhaps even earlier would have been better, but with so many sites to monitor in a very dynamic enviroment, it must be an endless task.
Well done!

You seem to think everyone else twist things around. Like I said you are amazing.
Now you are concerned about your members being notified when you didn't give
your members any warning of your blow up decision of the three lovely choices that you made up to all mean the same thing. No payment. You are truly amazing.
