I think that it would be ok to let members redeem via E-gold but with 15% fee. ($2.30 may be redeemed for $2 via e-gold)

The news from oncentmail was really a shocking one for members who are using e-gold only including me.I never expect such a trajedy from such a very good paying program.

1.) The e-gold users be paid through e-gold but with a small fee to cover exchange costs.
2.) Moneybookers to be used as an alternative.

I also asked him to look at this thread at GetPaidForum, so be on your best behaviour!

And if anyone else relies on an e-gold payment, please post below.

MoneyBookers is ok, but I'd prefer e-gold, even with that fee. It shouldn't be a problem for him.

I think that staying with e-gold is good option, I think also that fee of 5-10% is fair enough for me.

I have it listed to be paid by E-Gold. This site sucks, and so is the webmaster.

I can't use PayPal either, I'd rather have E-Gold or MoneyBookers.

You know what I think? I think he was a victim from those e-mails that he thought it was from E-Gold, and followed the directions. So he is punishing us for his stupid mistake if he followed that e-mail.

My e-gold account was hijacked before, and I didn't follow a link in any e-mail or anything like that. We never did figure out how they got the password figured out, and I had no trojans. Do a little investigation and you will see that this has happened to many, many people.

I feel for the folks who won't be able to get paid in e-gold, but I don't blame the WM for not wanting to eat the costs of the transactions.

Perhaps if the creative ideas continued and the knocking and bashing stopped, a reasonable solution could be had.

Cashing out with a cheque : 2 $ fee at stormpay
Cashing out a cheque in US$ in my bankaccount : 15 $ transaction costs

Total costs for cashing out 2 $ at OCM : 17,48 $

I don't understand why webmasters like stormpay that much, it's not even more secure than e-gold and none of the members like it.

I wonder why some webmasters can calculate the costs of e-gold transactions in their general costs of running a site and can pay their members in e-gold by buying the needed e-gold every week and making payments directly after that, and why others can't .....

I hope this site will find another solution that is fair to the members who joined thinking in good faith to be paid thru e-Gold the money they have earned.

E-gold is my choice too, cannot be paid thru paypal and stormpay has ridiculous fees.

Sophie's maths is convincing enough. StormPay is not worth if you only cash out 2 dollars from OCM.

I redeemed my earnings by e-gold last week, and it looks like I need to click on the redemption button again, via PayPal this time.

Your egold can be hacked.When you join egold programs do not use your egold account password if you do you just gave your egold account to that sites webmaster.This is what happened to me.Egold blocked the account of the hacker,but that is all they can do.Now that I have changed my password my account is safe and I will not use that password for any other site.
I will pay my members with egold do not worry.
StormPay is free and international and you can buy egold with stormpay .
I am sorry for for putting you all through this.But it has been a hard time for me ,if you have ever been robbed you know the unsafe feeling you get.

stormpay is complaining cause of a lot of fees to the members

I`ve never had doubts about this I got paid twice, but recent situation with e-gold makes me furious! Everywhere hackers, fake e-gold letters and so on. I don`t see the way to stop this, if only e-gold would make some investigation...It`s important for me and many others, cuz there`s a lot of countries where paypal isn`t available. I`ve been also hacked, and sb`s stolen all my money But I hope Ken soon, as in Bob Marley`s song, "everything gonna be allright"

Ken, my E-gold password is not the same as others. I made sure that it does not have the same password when I joined.
