I recently got a computer from someone but it has a Windows password on it. I don't know the password to access the system. What should I do about the situation?

Is it windows 9x or Me? If so, just press cancel and went to change it in the control panel.

windows is stupid they have those password protected computers but all you need to do is press "cancel" :-D

second hand pc should always be formatted as you never know whats been installed and whats been picked up while surfing
