2. Any given program cost more and takes longer.

3. If a program is useful, it will have to be changed.

4. If a program is useless, it will have to be documented.

5. Any given program will expand to fill all available memory.

6. The value of a program is proportional to the weight of its output

7. Program complexity grows until it exceeded the capability of the programmer who must maintain it.

I have got to totally disagree with all of those exept the last one, i was writing a program that got to 9 000 lines, and it made me go crazy

When you finely, after many nights staying up late, found al the bugs in your code and fixed them and you're now absolutely sure there aren't any left, a 15 year old wiz kid comes along, glances at your code for a few minutes and finds 5 more.

I write a 35 line program and feel accomplished! laugh.gif

Of course it might help if I knew what I was doing.
