I always manage to pick up a few with advertising. Free ad boards & traffic exchanges will get you a few more.

The downline builder in this forum is great. Especially if you can get a good referrer or few under you. I've also had great luck with the referral exchange folder here. Other than that I post in free classieds, where it's allowed, once in awhile, send out ads for new programs on safelists, redeem earning for ads or send ads when I can through good ad deals from the GPTRs I do. I use traffic exchanges, too. A lot is timing, persistence, and a lot of luck.

What's "referal exchange"? I'm a newbie. I'm willing to sign-up with 1-2 more programs with someone if they do the same for me. I'm also a great person to refer since I use my computer/email 3-4 times a day and enjoy clicking on ads.

it all costs money if you want REAL success, unless you get lucky with a good referrer under you...
i put $30 into a program and got 300 direct referrals - but thats even good these days
find a program that gives real good revenue per day, with a reasonable referral earning percentage. PM me if you would like more help.

Helping the webmaster of your program may prove beneficial as I found out today. He sent a general email to all members asking for some feedback for an idea he had in regards to the site.
Usually I don't bother to respond - but I'm glad I did this time! We had a few emails back and forth discussing his idea, and afterward he offered me a discounted Gold Membership and guaranteed me 5 immediate referrals. When I took him up on the GM he gave me 6 first level referrals, and 6 second level referrals!
I realise this is very likely not typical, but it's a great example of what being involved in your program can bring you.
