I had 11 referrals joined between the dates of contest. last referrals joined in the night of 16-17 august (on night of 17-18 aug the contest finished!), about a day before the end of contest. but they didn`t count in contest so i lose. unfortunely my account was deleted, because i didn`t respect the terms and i said "mama whale" cause i will report in gpf, and i couldn`t take a screenshot with all thinks. now this is odd too. why to delete members accounts for complaints? the complaints are usual. every site has its own problems! but i figured out with this contest. it`s dont matter how hard you push to grab something, sometimes the dices are thrown before the contest starts...

BTW : i`ve joined this site in august, so i couldn`t have referrals joined before 17 julie!

i`ve contacted and she deleted my account. she says cause the referrals joined after the contest. odd.. i`ve sended a mail to her before the end of contest with my problem and she said :

she replyed my fast. i like to receive fast replyes. i`ve stayed 1 day and a half waiting for that problem to be fixed! (with referrals, but she didn`t fixed it!)

I`ve sended her email with 2 hours before to come here. i`ve hoped she will resolve this. but she deleted my account before to come here. OOOODDDDDDDDD

She deleted my account because i said cause i will go here in sign of protest, and i will delete my account! this is part B. i`ve never deleted my account on any site. i tell this only in sign of protest. anyway if she deleted my account it is not a problem. the problem is referral contest!

Well, she does say in the terms that if you have a problem with her site you should contact her first before going to complain in a forum. I suppose you agreed to the terms.

For the matter of the refferals, maybe it was just because of different timezones. It
happened to me too once. I strongly advise you to try and get a proper explanation from Michelle. I'm sure she'll oblige.

it is not a timezone problem. the referrals joined at about 12:00 AM 17 July on my clock and the contest finished about 03:16 PM on 18 August (pegasus mail indicate that!, can show ss if anyone wants!) . i can`t find any good explanation...

I have never had a problem with this WM. She has always responded well too me. Instead of threatening to take issues to forums, she might be more open to discussing the issue. The referral contest was from 7/17-8/17. If you believe that there were some referrals that should be included, I have no doubt that she would be willing to discuss the issue.

As far as winning before a contest starts, that to me is high unbelievable. I have won two of her contests, when I very rarely win anything.

As far as your deleted account, it was deleted because until the issue has truly been resolved, her new terms state to not bring issues to the forums.

Mama whale sent out an email about this problem this morning...she states she explained that you had only referred 9 people in the time span of the contest...that 11 was the total amount since you have been a member.

Also her terms state the following:

I,webmistress of whaleintomail.com will not tolerate members going to the forums and slandering this site in any way or form. I support and respect all my members of this site and do the best of my ability to help all members.I always answer emails or support emails within 24 hours and if there is any problem of any sort.. you need to contact me first and i will solve any problems you have with the site to the best of my ability. If any member goes to any forums without notifying me to try and fix and problems or concerns first, YOU WILL BE DELETED Immediately.I am here to help any members and any concerns you have. "Bashing" this site in any form will be followed by any prosecution to the highest extend by the webmistress. Your opinion DOES MATTER to whaleintomail.com and will be adressed IMMEDIATLEY if there are any questions, concerns or complaints.

every member had to go the the terms page and click agree to stay in this program just last week....

If you clicked the agree button then you have to abide by her rules....

when you contacted her according to her email you did not like what she had to say so you told her you were bringing the issue here...which is strictly against the terms...so she deleted you.

I know its rough especially when you believe you are in the right...but you should have tried to work it out with her...not tell her you were running to the forum when any member of her site knows she hates that.

what work? i waited 16 hours to fix the problem. i`ve sended the mail on 17 August afternoon after my clock, about 1 day before contest`s end and i received a response cause the problems will be fixed. i got mad when i`ve seen the referral contest`s winers.

BTW : i`ve readed the TOS before joining, and that part it`s really ODD.

Basically taking away a person's freedom of speech. I guess if ya'll are into that sort of thing, go ahead and take it. She's starting to sound more and more like Evelyn Turner every day, isn't she?

I don't know Evelyn Turner ( just heard a lot about her), but the webmistress of
whaleintomail actually cares about her members and always tries to solve problems to the best of her ability.

I think that if someone has a problem with her site they should always discuss it with her first. If the problem is ignored, then the person is justified in posting in the forum. But I think Michelle knows her members will never have to do that as she is very good on the support side.

I'm sorry to have started another controversy .

People should be able to talk about what every issue they have concerning programs or problems they have in this forum. It's unfair to not be able to talk to others in fear of getting deleted. Somebody else?s opinion, comment, point of view may help the matter before it escalades. Nobody should be able to insult someone personally or say derogative comments. But freedom of speech is important.

The WM of this program is very nice, but I agree.. members should not be deleted for posting in forums.

Personally, I prefer for a member to come to me for any problems before posting, however I don't delete those that do exercise their right to say whatever they want, where ever they want.

She is selling the site. Just had an email at Grandma Mels saying that God told her to get out of PTR cause of the Forums. Perhaps the new owner wont have the pull to place the TOS over the goverment and the Bill of Rights.

Ok...some things need to be cleared up.

First off... Learn what the 1st amendment is. It states THE GOVERNMENT cant limit your freedom of speech. Meaning your cant be arrested for saying something. This does NOT cover private enterprise. Your boss has the right to fire you if you say something against the company to a public entity. Whaleintomail has the right to delete if you say something against her. The 1st amendment means the government and government only can not take away your right to say what you want against it and such.

2nd. Michelle is a great webmaster who pays every time consistenly. She cares about her members and will do everything possible for them. She added that to the terms after the whole problem the other day when one of ET's minions started slandering her here.

The person waited one whole day and then when told he was wrong told her right out he was going to the forums. Has he shown any proof anywhere that his 11 refs were all within the time? Why does everyone side against the PO?

3. Michelle is not selling the site. She took it off ebay after a majority of her members emailed her telling her they wanted her to stay.

4. While those terms are a little harsh... we all know how these forums can seriously cause harm at times against good programs. People think they can threaten to run here and the PO will cave in to their demands.

5. As long as Michelle is not discrimating against people for age, sex, race, disability and such she is well within her rights to delete who she wants from a program if they are causing a problem or slandering the program or lying. If you were an emplorer and you had an employee that went to the local newspaper and reported that he was being treated unfairly, would you not fire that person?

6. Does anyone else have the feeling that this person has some problems with reading english? The reason I say that is because he keeps calling the PO a HE... when she signs every email MAMA WHALE. Would indicate to me that he has no idea anything about the PO and doesnt read his mail closely at all.

Regarding one...Sorry my bad perhaps I phrased my response bad. I wasnt saying that she did or didnt have the right because of the 1st admendment. I meant it appears she believes her self to supersede the power the gov't has.(I.E. Gov't cant talk away free speech but she can) I re-read my post and do see where I worded it that you could get the impression you did. I apologize for leaving it open to interpretation.

As for #3 Well I got the email today so why shouldnt I believe the site to not be for sale. Again Sorry but as far as my knowledge the site was/is for sale. As a PO you would think she would try to get the ads she sent out looking for buyers pulled....True?

and lastly #5 I can honestly say...I dont know. You see so many people being able to sue their employers for termination I would be hesitant to fire that person for simply speaking out against the company. If people can get $ cause Mcdonalds made them fat and Smoking is killing them, i wouldnt doubt that someone would get $ for getting fired for critizing their employer. Perhaps we should try to get the teamsters in here to help protect us from these types of things?

Why Cant I type? Why Why Why

I really don't know what I find more disturbing -- the fact that God told her to auction off her sites because of things said in the forums, or that she's decided to defy the Lord God Himself and keep her programs going.

But apart from that, I still don't understand why the member's account was deleted. The member took his complaint to the PO first, then came here because he wasn't happy with her answer. I don't know if God told him to post here or not. And am I confused, or was his account deleted before he came here and posted a complaint? Was he deleted just for saying he was going to post a complaint?

Well many webmasters think that they are God so maybe she told herself that she needed to get out

Before we start accussing her of selling the site after all.... Has Anyone thought about the possibility that the ad was sent out a few days After she changed her mind?
Is it possible that she had purchased that ad, but the ad did not go out until Later?
We of the ptr world know how long it can take sometimes before our ads are sent out, it can be same day, a few days or even a week or so. So could it not be possible that this is what has happened?
We should ask before we accuse, is that not the right thing to do?

You are very correct and the auction WAS pulled. BUT When I get a site that goes offline or whatever I contact the places that I have ads out for that site to see if they will pull the ad or at least delete it from database. Wouldnt want to encourage confusion. So I am willing to admit that it is likely that she sent out ads, a few days later possibly changed her mind....Shouldnt she have tried to pull the "I am selling" ads? Wouldnt that be responsible action? I know if the program was already in the red zone(and talking about selling is a RED flag) I wouldnt ant to further trounce on my members faith by having them see ads that it was for sale. Nor would I as a member want to have ads floating around like taht if I was promoting the site.

So in fact I WASNT accusing. I was using a publicly sent ad selling the site from the WM as my base of proof. So it is hardly an accusation...It was stating a fact as the WM put forth.

But anywho this is meandering away from topic. As far as I know from reading this thread Wil, the OP was deleted after attempting to contact WM.
