Hi everyone!

I am a bit frustrated with trying to get good results with search ads. Am I doing something wrong?? I need advice please. I have placed over 10 search email ads to 10 different sites and only 1 out of all the ads did I make some cents off of. All the other ads I lost money on. sad.gif

I'm starting to think maybe its my search engines bid amount?? Are other people getting higher value clicks at other engines or something?

Here are the engines I promoted and results:

Search Pat - ad cost 0.08 - 48 clicks / 5 valid clicks - made 0.01 - lost money!

Searcherz - ad cost 0.34 - 12 clicks / 4 valid clicks - made 0.08 - lost money!

Ice Search - ad cost 0.34 - 12 clicks / 4 valid clicks - made 0.11 - lost money!

Search Drifter - ad cost 0.34 - 8 clicks / 3 valid clicks - made 0.03 - lost money!

Omega - ad cost 0.33 - 9 clicks / 2 valid clicks - made 0.04 - lost money!

Search & Shop - ad cost 0.75 - 22 clicks / 7 valid clicks - made 0.11 - lost money!

Pro Search - ad cost 1.00 - 301 clicks / 13 valid clicks - made 0.25 - lost money!

Binary - ad cost 0.60 - 68 clicks / 16 valid clicks - made 0.38 - lost money!

Wired24 - ad cost 0.08 - 54 clicks / 13 valid clicks - made 0.88 - FINALLY money!

Pirate Search - ad cost 0.49 - 49 clicks / 1 valid clicks - made 0.05 - lost money!

I am losing money instead of making money. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Good advice laugh.gif

@Lamerz11
Where did you buy the ads?
Look at the promotion folder here in the forum. There are a lot of helpful information wink.gif

Those ads seem to be really cheap over all so I don't question the outcome much....

the value of clicks for members who get those ads must be minimal so it isn't a surprice that many doesn't do a full search.

Look at the Promotion Advice Folder and see what people have gained in different programs when they've sent out a search ad smile.gif

The bids of your SE's are too low! 5 Valid searches in the first SE and you made 1c blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif
Also, don't buy ads less than 1 dollar, they won't make you anything. Try some solid, old sites that don't have that many members.

You seem to have chosen the wrong search engines. Always choose ones with an average bid of atleast 3c, or you won't turn a profit.

Thank you all for your feedback!! biggrin.gif

I am surprized with the ad you ran with BA that your searches werent more I will be more then happy to resend your ad for you? Just let me know. Also check the promotion advice folder. With Butterfly Ads I have noticed many people wait to click though and sometimes there wont be clicks for a couple weeks. Your ad does run for 30 days there. you might also try running ads like weekly instead of one time. I have found my best results are when they run several days or weekly.

Search and Shop has paid me twice and I always have very good results with them perhaps it was the things folks clicked on that amounted to the low amount or money the person lost.

To respond to some, the reason why I wasn't buying ads over $1 was because I didn't want to claim a larger lost. I do see sites offering deals of $2-$4 ads, sometimes only for 1 ad this is the price. I guess I felt, if I pay $2 for one ad, I would lose even more because I can't even make 0.15 on some 1 time ads.

Thank you for your suggestions priestes! I will definitely try out doing weekly ads and see if there is a profit.

Love the feedback gang, thanks!

Altisearch.com ppc search engine can offer you average bid amount at least 3c. The CTR is very high!:)

I have been paid by searchandshop, searcherz, searchdrifter, omega, prosearch, pirate and a few others as well wink.gif

What I meant was, if the average bid value is low, no matter where you promote it and what people search for, you still won't make a profit.

LSUChick, why not promote one engine at a time, reach payout and use that money to buy more ads?

By making this same post all over the forum, you are only reducing your credibility and that of your search engine. smile.gif
