college, school officially starts on august 31st...but move in date is august 21st

my baby starts school on sept.7

My daughter starts 3rd grade on September 7th. My middle child (son) turns 3 on September 11th, so he's got a couple more years; and my youngest (son) just recently turned 1 so he's got a few more years.

Every year there is one more grade added in to force kids into school earier.

Luckly I was out of 2 nd grade before they makde pre-K, so my school life was the old normal.

School starts next week.

In Belgium school begins September 1st and ends June 30th so we have 2 months summer vacation.

I found in Super Kmart last week. You can buy 70 sheet notebook for just 10 cents each.

Last week I bought 150 piece of paper. I only pay for just 50 cents each.

No kids to send to school yet I do get my neice to school though (shes in summer school for reading) but the school year here starts after labor day.

My aunt on the other hand (ok Im 27 shes 13, can ya figure that out ) shes in school all year with the exception of a 1 week break the last week of august and goes 7 days a week for schoo then after that has all the after school activities and shes , shes already been accepted to Stuyvesant HS so we are all proud of her shes one bright kid...nothing like the rest of the family in that sense of loving school lmao.

Id say in my Aunts case the question should be, how long are you on vacation from school rather then when do you go back lol, she just about lives there

I paid about $170 for school supplies for 3 kids. 2nd grade, 6th grade, and 7th grade. That's not counting the calculators two of them have to get at school, the trumpet we have to get for one of the, the fee for the tuba for one of them, $5.00 activity fees for two of them, $5.00 locker fees for two of them, and it just goes on and on.....................
