Because my e-mail addy is my login name I only show bits of the spam sent to me.

If you got some catch 22 clause allowing this spaming buried somewhere. Get rid of it, this unwanted spaming just going to cost you members. I already deleted my membership with your other site.

Hmm, I don't know about that particular mail, but I've gotten e.mails from PTR companies before that say the name of another company at the top, by the same owner or webmaster. I think those are just a mistake though. Like (JUST an example), you'll get an e.mail from Money-Snake and it'll say "you are receiving this as a member of Belgian-Bucks" (same webmaster), but the links go to Money-Snake. I think it's just a mistake that they use the same general template for all their sites' mails, and they forgot to change the name...but I'm not sure.

She's one of the best webmasters out there, kind, considerate, and has helped me out on many occasions.

Even held off redeeming when she had the biggest downline at my sites because she knew i didn't have it at the time..

She does not spam anyone...

When you sign up for a site, the webmaster can send you non-paid links to promote any site she/he wants to...

I don't recieve Spam from her. I am a member of three of her five sites. It is no different when other webmasters do the same with their other programs.

No she cannot send anything she wants. When you sign up for one site that doesn't give them the right to spam you. If they have a tos rules its a catch 22 clause not valid.
Spaming is to me define as unwanted e-mails from a site I did not sign up for.
I stated I canceled my account. An will do it to any site that the owner spams me from other sites they may own.

You cannot justify spaming, oh the owner is so nice. I could care less if that person is nice or not nice.
I sign up for a site, only that site sends me e-mail, I did not authorise that WM to send me spam advertising from any other sites that WM may own.

First, no.. just because shadowman joined a PTR site does NOT mean that the webmaster can send whatever they want to him.

I think maybe the WM of paidexplosion uses a template and may of made a mistake. I'm a member of that site, but not the other ones they own and the top of my email says bestpaidemail too sometimes.

The only other thing I can think of is someone from bestpaidemail purchased an ad to all members of all the WM's sites.. and therefore we're getting it from that site. Either way, it's crediting your paidexplosion account.

I disagree with that. I am a member of BestPaid, WishForMoney and PaidExplosion. To me, it would not be spamming.

Then, tell us when you wrote the polite letter to the webmaster asking if the email was sent in error, and if not to please explain why it was sent.

That would be my guess...see, I'm a member of ALL of Thea's sites so I cant complain as long as most if not ALL of the mails and links she sends out are paid. Second, PaidExplosion has paid me twice so far and i'm looking at a third payment in the VERY near future, and I'm sorry but I agree that she's VERY nice and has her act together.

I believe it IS and WAS possible that a member from that one program purchased an ad for all of her sites and thats how it got sent. Then again it is also possible that she DID make an error which is entirely possible as well as we are all HUMAN. As long as its not porn and its paid/credited to your account I see no reason to complain without first contacting the WM, in this case Thea. You'll find shes very polite and professional

I agree. She was very nice to work with. She is nice still as well. My experience with her is that I got her and Sherry together to work out a little problem with Sherry's account for Wishformoney, and she fixed the problem right away. Hats off to Thea for her work to fix the problems that accured at her sites.

Ask any WM who owns more then one site. You have to combined all the members addys into one mailing list to send out these type of group site e-mails.

The WM might be the nicest person on earth but I am not going to waste my time contacting someone who has decide to have a all membership mailing list. I will post about it to warn others and quit the site.

Many other WM keep their different sites members addys seperate. Because they will not abuse their members by sending spam to them. Unauthorize mailing are spam.

i still have to receive that email... but i also think it could be a mistake. it happens sometimes... well, a bit less than sometimes. but i have come across 2 or 3 that got their mailing lists mixed up! just can't remember who.
although you are right... when you join a gpt, you opt in ONLY for emails for that certain ptr & not others even if owned by the same WM.
i'm a member of paidexplosion & crazy for cash, not of the others. i just suggest informing the webmaster.

There are some owners/WMs that feel every little thing needs to be sent as a messsage to the members. Others just keep sending out advertising rate information [which is available on the site] or the special of the day separate from normal emails. Sometimes multiple times a day and sometimes apologies to the previous emails. There is a common sense limit to the amount of email a WM should send to its members.

Remember the PayPal issue of 2 weeks ago. Some sent they will stop using PayPal because of the rumors. They panic for no reason. (We know who you are...)

Yes, most protect themselves with their term of service to send out this unrequired emails. The owners/WMs will say its importants - but to whom?
