OK..just have to blow off some steam here. I know alot of you all LOVE Myecom for various reasons...and I am not putting them down in general..but their servers STINK! Yeah I have seen the posts they know about the prob and they are fixing it etc. BUT the point is they should never have let it go this far. They must have been aware that too many PTR sites on one server would be too much.

Why dont more people use Cynthias server. Its VERY realibale. I have all my sites hosted there and never ONCE have they been down. IF Cynthia thinks the server is overloaded she gets another one. She has great service and listens to your concerns..she handles everything very professional and QUICK!

OK all you Myecom defenders let me have it..LOL

But ADMIT first this happens alot and yada yada about the problems being fixed soon...come up with something different please..heard that one!

I dont have DividendMails set up on it only because I got a good deal on hosting ...only had to pay for 1 month and got a year otherwise I would change that too

sites yet this week as there is MAJOR upgrades going on New Super Fast Pipes being wired in there and Dedicated servers will be available there very soon .

Honestly I dont know if she has a website with prices..I am sure she does I just never have seen it.

The smallest one she has is $5 per month

I use the $15 per month plan for SearchBotz and that site gets like 80K searchs per month so thats alot of traffic

I use the $10 per month plan for Search4Search

The $10 per month plan is enough bandwidth etc for any small-medium PTR site

hmm you think she'd be willing to Host Jays-PaidMail for 15 bucks a Month ?

I'll gladly move it off my servers to hers for that . To Free Up the 455+ Gigs
of Bandwith I'm burning monthly on Jays-PaidMail

Plus you arent just referring to your PTR site...you have alot of other stuff on there dont you (on the domain Jays-PaidMail)? Like your auction your top sites you forum and whatever else you have.

I dont know anything about them...sorry cant say one way or another. Just know I have tried many hosts over and over again and I will stay with Cynthias...I guess if it aint broke dont fix it

I didn't know she had a $5 a month plan.
I wish I had known that after the first time Country Cash Inn crashed. We were searching frantically for another place to put it that we could afford.
But it's on a friends server now, along with most of my sites, and my sister sites.

Yeah...thats too bad. I use the $5 per month plan for WebPrideDesigns because it doesnt get much traffic

So....is this why 9 out of 10 links I've clicked this morning have come back "bad gateway"? This is terrible for all the webmasters AND advertisers. How many people really save that email and come back to it and try 2-3 times before they give up? Those ads never get seen and the advertisers money is wasted I don't know who hosts who, but this morning Centsable Email, PocketJingle, emailpayall, emailspayu, and a few others have ALL come back with the error message of Bad Gateway. I've waited an hour or so and tried again, but I feel for the 40 or so advertisers who paid for those ads and didn't get their ad in front of me AND I wasted all that time trying to click links and didn't get paid.

It's not like this is a one-time problem. It seems that at least 2-3 times per week for the last 2-3 months there has been some problem with the myecom folks, and it's annoying.

Webmasters, take the hint -- now your members and PAYING advertisers are complaining. Start looking for another host!
