I had my account suspened, i thought it was due to ending traffic from the old portal.. So i emailed them and apologized and said it was fixed...

Than they email me claiming it was because i was sending bot traffic.. Okay whatever that is.. But i did find a few members claiming to be from the United states that werent.. but okay..

But i also told them that i sent an ad from another site other than my own and asked them if this was a new development or what .. And told them i had no idea what bot traffic is..

I have been affliate for months now and never had a problem..

Well after i sent them that email, they emailed me back stating Bot traffic is clicks generate from BOTS. I won't explain the problem in the
smallest details as we don't edducate cheaters.

Now To call me a cheater is just wrong.. I am not a cheat , i wouldnt know the first thing how to cheat.. I am as honest as they come .

What a joke.. YOu know some search engines should realize , i have no way of decitating who searches and who doesnt.. My job is to send them traffic, and if people search than i make a little back , if they dont i dont make anything..

I know there is alot of people out there that do try and cheat these search engines but you know what their is honest ones out there too..

Its pro-search who will suffer in the long run though because they have just lost a decent affiliate. There are always going to be a few folk who try and cheat the search engines... and anything else too. But as a PO you do everything within your power to make sure you are sending them exactly the type of traffic they say they want. I know I can't use rude words... but... oh... grrr

Ed, I had the same thing happen to me at SD.

Some *sweetheart* was hitting my portal with a bot and sending garbage traffic.

My account was automatically suspended (Because he could get in trouble from the feeds for that type of traffic) and then Lach did some magic and poof, I had my account back.

It's a shame that after months of being an affiliate and sending appropriate traffic, your repuation wouldn't have afforded you the benefit of the doubt.

YOu know i can understand their position. And i can understand they suspeneding me .. I dont want them to lose feeds because of the traffic i send..

But what i cant understand is them coming out and calling me a cheater.. I am not a cheater.. I also did find some members that were from non search friendly countries that were claiming to be from the united states..

So i was being cheated by some of my members.. And i have suspened those accounts and will soon be deleted..

But I never in my life have cheated anyone, and couldnt believe my eyes when someone called me one..

Hopefully , i can get my account back.. If not at least be paid for the good traffic i sent..

But I will expect an apology ,, I won't let someone damage my name ...

There is no way on earth that a WM can be help responsible for the (kind) of searches being done by their members.
I am a member of many PTR sites and I do valid searches, but the other day when I did a search it came back as all searches from my IP # were not permitted.Has anyone ever heard anything like this?
Now what did I do?? Too many searches?? Who knows!!!
Each search site has their own criteria to follow, like how many searches a particular IP # can make per so many number of days etc.
Now are the WM's letting us in on this (NO)
So maybe I as well as others will have our accounts suspended for doing too many searches LOL......
It's a good thing I went into this whole PTR/PTC concept as it being too good to be true, cause I'm beginning to belive like alot of others that most WM's out there are robbing peter to pay Paul, or just plainly robbing period!

Our Filters have noticed bot traffic coming from your portal page.

It could be like pittr is saying thats someone is trying to trick you and sending bot traffic to your portal page, this happend more then once.

Okay yes i understand that.. I do have the new link to send from .. I think someone is playing a nice little trick on me.. Not so nice i should say..

Can or when can i get my account reinstated??

Could you E-mail me, I will take a look at your validated clicks and remove the 'bot' clicks.

I know as a fact that Tammy is no cheater.. and i get so upset when she gets dealt those harsh words as i know she takes them to heart.

personally i wouldn't respect any search engine or any site for that matter, not emailing me with the matter and giving me the benefit of the doubt.. you are not wonderwoman and can't find invisible cheaters or guess every second what a member is doing.

and i know we have such great and wonderful members who are so supportive and just all around great..

but every site has a bad apple or two.. sometimes we are lucky and can find them.. other times they slip between our fingers.
none of that can be helped.

Perhaps, someone else did. He wants you to lose the account. Then he use some kinds of bot to click your portals. Of course, your traffic is fake and your account will be blocked.

I heard something recently about msn and google crawling bots

Maybe thats what was hitting your portal..
