Everyone has their own opinion based on what they're customed to use, I personally never switched away from
IE because it has never caused me any problems. As long as you have a good popup blocker - no problems!

I use Maxthon (former MyIE2), sit has a really good (optional, customizable) popup + banner blocking and tabbed browsing, which is really good for PTC, PTR sites.

I've been using IE with all PTR sites and so far, no problems. I've simply got the Google toolbar popup blocker active and that's all I need. A while back I was also testing out CrazyBrowser and I kinda even liked it with it's built-in popup blocker system and the tab-system also seemed to be a nice feature. But basicly, CrazyBrowser is based on IE.
IE in combination with a popup blocker is just fine when it comes to PTR's and paid links, but as for autosurf (or manual surf) programs, you should use a different browser with all kinds of different detailed security options - the problem is that there is all possible kind of rubbish intruding your browser especially when doing autosurf, that it's even beyond imagination. This, by the way, is also the reason why I decided to take a longer vacation from autosurf sites - I was getting annoyed by all sorts of stops caused by pop-up dialogs or warning messages while the browser was autosurfing. And I was using CrazyBrowser. I guess I didn't turn off all settings I should have. Still, the browser produced a warning if I disabled the flash animation, and that warning discontinued the further loads of more autosurf sites until I had acknowledged the warning.
So for PTR's, using IE+good popup problem shouldn't cause too many problems at all. In addition, I'm using winXP under a non-administrator account, so I ain't got much problems with viruses or trojans, then again, most of the time I am behind either a hardware firewall or a software firewall that SHOULD be running in my machine .....
....(
checking)....
...yep, it's runnin'

Tiny Personal Firewall, to be more exact. Seems to be doing it's job tremendeously well, without me having to worry about trojan dangers. No active virus or adware scanner though, I just run hijackthis occasionally to check. And within two and a half months, no threats what so ever from any PTR sites I've visited or ads I've clicked.

I have only used IE and Netscape for my PTR browsing. I switched from useing IE to Netscape only beccause I was having problems with IE browseing under a proxy. And couldn't do allot of searches that I wanted and also coun't use the PTS section of some PTR sites because I was under a proxy. I belive that my current ISP automatcaly swithes IE setting to use a proxy. I have not had this problem since I started useing Netscape. Before I found the Get Paid World I had MSN as my ISP for awhile and greatly miss it. When I can afford to go back to MSN I will. As of all the browsers I have ever used I liked MSN's the best and hope it will work just as good as Netscape for PTR.

How do you manage to do your PTCs? Opera opens the ad site in the same tab, and if PTC banner has no timer, then only the site opens, and also in the same tab. What else makes me mad with Opera is that when it opens new window in a new tab, it automatically activates it. Crazy Browser is better, because it stays on the old page, meaning you can click multiple links by not going back and forth through tabs. Or maybe there's an addon to modify this silly Opera's functionallity?

That's the only thing I don't like.
PTC -> right click and open in new site (tab). And of course I always have to refresh the sites with PTC.
I used CB too, but I had a lot of problems and it was a little bit slow.

Well I doubt if these are entirely SECRETS, but yes, there are a few tricks you can pull in order to get more efficient results with your PTR's. Then again, you can do similar things with other browsers as well - this is not limited to browser settings, it's about windows settings. Though, there might be of course more small tricks that are unique for IE, which I don't know about. But those that I do know about are enough for me to keep me satisfied
