Just a question - so far we have had a few people ask to have their membership in GPF killed, some for unfair (biased) moderating, some because they are sick of the drama, some over the constant program bashing that some feel is undeserved. Where do you stand?

The mods are okay, they are trying to do their best...I never had any probs with one of them...and if they make mistakes in moderating, this could happen, just think, that they are huamns, too

and sometimes it's funny here, too...unbelievable, no...on some days I laughed a lot here...

and it's excited here: better than Dallas or Denver, really...so T.V. off and rush in GPF...

I think the mods are fair and I like this forum because I learn a lot of things without any bias unlike on a privately owned forum.

I figure it's not easy moderating a board as this. I have noticed some seem to be allowed to say whatever they feel like and it's considered their opinion yet others get censored.

I don't remember if I talked to any or not so I'll take your word that they're nice lol

I don't necessarily want to leave, I have a thicker skin I guess. Some of this stuff is outright funny.

I do think there's way too many thread about one program. How come when multiple threads start up with other pgorams one or more get closed? Seems like there were a couple in the discussion forum and at least 2 here all with the same shiznit. Kind of seems like allowing excessing bashing.

I don't want to leave. GetPaid forum has helped me make informed decisions about programs I'm in and ones I want to join. And I think the moderators are doing a good job. I just think some programs bring out a lot of different feelings in different people which isn't anything new. Peoples feelings are based on their dealings with a program. Some feel positive and some negative. Nothing wrong with either unless people are not telling the truth.

If that fourth option gets added, then I'll vote -- right now none of them apply to me because of the way they're worded.....Give me a positive option and you'll get another vote.

I love the forum. Even though it has its bad threads, it also has its good threads. Like the world, there are plenty of people who are just around to stir things up and put in negative thoughts, but not to forget there are occasional positive posts from people. Some people here are really nice and helpful, and I think most of the moderating team are pretty darn hilarious sometimes with their posts and methods of editing. Of course, I also hang out at Chit Chat a lot when everywhere else gets too heated.

If you think anything in GPF is getting on your nerves, take a break, go out for a walk, bask under the sunshine (if available), and come back later if you feel like it.

I think the mods do the best they can. I have no problem with the way they do their NON paying job.

I have never had any problems with this forum, in fact like most I enjoy it quite alot

I think the mods to a good job, but no matter what they do there will always be people who complain or disagree with their actions.

You can't please everyone.

I think the mods here do the best they can with what they got... Sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I despise this forum, sometimes I love it, but I wouldn't want to leave it either way. It's always entertaining.

GPF itself is great, just that some of its members are not so much so...especially in the Complaints Section, ppl may just have become a little too emotional when expressing their views I think...but at least GPF lets ppl speak their minds as long as they're not out of control

I think mods are fair, I broke the rules a few times without knowing, and they all PM'd me and told me what was wrong, and I respect that and corrected my mistakes. No harm no foul

I meant to vote for 4 and voted for I would stay and endure lol.. I love GPF if it wasnt for the forum I would have been shafted by many more programs then I had been in the beginning of my ptr experience. I have met some wonderful folks as well on here.

The mods I think do a wonderful job for as many people frequent this board. I wonder how many people know how much time these dedicated folks give of there free time to moderate here? They sure dont get paid and have been harrassed called names themselves sheeesh it is a thankless job. They do a wonderful job on this board and I dont think they are biased as I have watched many heated threads and as long as folks follow the rules no one is banned or warned it is when they get heated and carried away. Not only that they really are very tolerant and give warnings to many but it seems a few want to push till one of the mods has no recourse.

Well because of GPF I learned to stay away from E.T. and tasias so I'm always greatful for that, and don't plan on leaving anytime soon

I don't understand why people have to make dramatic departures from this forum. If you're fed up, didn't get your way, disagree with a mod's decision .. just stop coming here. Why the, "I'm going to leave because..", "I'm never comng back because..", "remove my user name from this forum", etc ?? I've seen so many people say any or all of the above, and then come back.

I only broke one rule not too long ago as I was figuring out how to do a signature. I finally figured it out (sorta) but had too many lines. Oops!! A Mod sent me a PM and told me very blatently that I had 7 lines and the limit was 5 and to get it changed immediately or it would be deleted. There was no "Please", no "Thank you", just a very rude demand. Yes, I felt like I should quit the Forum right then. So, to the Mod who wrote that, I certainly hope you felt better after jumping me about it. You can draw more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Remeber Mods are HUMANS too and not mods. According to me, they do the Best they can.

I find most of the mods are fair.
Some people do seem to be favoured in their actions by certain mods though.
Compared to some of the stuff written by some POs on here ( disguised as furry animals usually), Linders Ays posts seem quite tame.
Overall though, MOST mods are trying there best.

I all fairness here...There have been times when I have replied to so many emails I did not realize how it may have sounded when read back. I did not mean to be rude or anything like that. Was more in a rush and not proofreading what I wrote. I have learned my lesson there though but sometimes people just don't realize who what they write comes out

Over half of the people voted for that fourth choice. I am really pleased that a lot of people realized that the mods at this forum are doing a marvelous job with the numerous (countless maybe) threads and posters. This is the most active forum of its kind. Bravo mods you deserve a little praise once in a while.

Like many others, I learned the ABC of the PTR world at this forum. I had been reading at this forum for over 9 months when I finally registered. All my knowledge of programs and how to comes from here.

So thanks to all of you posters for a priceless eduction of the PTR wold.

This is the largest GPT forum that I know, and I can find here a lot of helpful informations that can't be found elsewhere. And the mods are gentle, so I like to stay here.

As far as the wars betweeen AYS and the people here are concerned, I don't believe it will ever stop til AYS folds. {which probably will be soon (my opinion)}. And I am VERY glad to hear that the people of GPF are taking a stand for right and wrong. Keep it up guys!!!

there are plenty of other places to visit in this forum other than the complaints section. try chitchat..browse the advertising folder...

try to eavesdrop in the other language forums and figure out what they're saying

this forum is what you make of is. want to be filled with a lot of hate and confusion? spend enough time in certin complaint threads and it'll do the trick.

why go thru the aggravation of posting in issues to delete your membership..really is it that hard to simply not insert this url into your browser window or ignore that gpf tab in your favorites?

gpf is the only place that i feel i can actually [b]learn['b] a bit about some of the programs that i might be considering joining...and when i feel i've had enough, i just won't come here anymore..how hard is that?

I was totally lost before I found GPForum. Met some great people here and met some aggravating ones too. Everybody makes mistakes, even me occassionally LOL! Everyone has friends they want to support or adversaries they try to put up with. That's just human. But the mods here do a great job keeping everything running smoothly and this is without doubt the closest thing I've ever seen to a fair, unbiased, open community. There's no doubt we have freedom of speech, even if that means you sometimes have to put up with stuff you don't want to hear.
