Do you think that the new GPF needs a new skin/theme that makes it stand out from the others?

Yes I do. I am more inclined to join a PTR-type site that's different from the rest, either in looks, in 'character' or in both. And I think I'm not the only one. Take Dig-for-gold and Snygl. These are both programs that became really popular really fast. Most 'regular' PTR-type sites die out or have very small memberbases. Another example is Clicksmatrix, which has a nice look and a good story (especially the new Dare the Clicksmatrix).

A board is a board You need to give yourself about a week before you can decide you really hate it.

I like to be able to change colours and icons etc.

Yep, a new skin/theme would be great!

It is not a skins.

It is called a new Design.

Actually adding a few skins would be great, so members can choose what they like and use it

I like weird or nice looking sites in ptr-business, but I think a forum must be very easy, to see and use. This is ok maybe some new, darker colors?

I do not care---(sorry--MHO) I just want the forum to be easy to read and navigate! And tho I was stunned to see the board this way it is ok.

Everythign seems to be blue---I like blue--but any other color would probably be to gawdy..so I guess this is fine.

Yeah I think having a new skin (or more than one!) would be great.
But skinning takes some time. Be patient

Ya gotta admit though, when you have more than one forum open at the same time it can get confusing. Cash's forum really stands out because it's different. I'm only a member of about 4 forums, can you imagine what it'd be like for those who join every one? Oh my!

My point is merely that there ARE 100's of forums out there and most people just use the DEFAULT skin and colors. They all look the same.

I don't really care what the skin is. I would just hope that a forum with SOOOO many members such as GPF would want to be different from all the others.

That's all.
