I'm very close to deleting my account with SOLAR CLICK because I'm so disgusted with the way the new owner has taken over and changed everything making it worse for the members.

I understand that the site was in trouble, but PULEEZE, making the PTC links .0001 of a cent?????

That's pathetic. Then to have a Cheat Banner on there blinking "Click Here" and then next to it states "This is a cheat link" is very deceiving!!!

We are clicking on PTC links to get paid to click NOT TO READ THE BANNERS!!! DAH!! They have deleted so many members for clicking on that banner and yet never has an email gone out stating that they are placing this banner there to be warned about it or anything. That right there would have been okay because that would prove that people are not reading their emails. BUT NOT READING BANNERS, IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT THING. As soon as I get my downline down to nothing and I get my next payout, I'm outta there.

When I saw who took over the site.... Changed all my personel info before I deleted my acct. Wasn't to far from payout either with no DL

No, I'm sure it's not a mistake. In addition, when you do reach payout, they take out 10% for FEES!! So if you reach a $20 payout, you have to read 200 plus emails BEFORE you even get paid!!! And that's if they are worth 1 penny....usually they're not, so you have to read twice as much. It's absolutely absurd. The 10% fee was prior to the new WM taking over. I will be deleting my account very soon. THEN I'LL BE HAPPY!!

Too bad but that link expired before I got a look at it.

For heaven's sake, how can one be getting OVERPAID if you have to click 10,000 links to earn a penny? If they are search links, the advertiser (PO?) would make $10,000-$30,000 for every penny a member got!

I say this because "family" members must do "valid" searches or get deleted. The "Family" TOS state that members with a pattern of clicking search links and not completing "valid" searches are considered cheaters. We all know what happens to cheaters.

This gets more amazing by the minute.

EXACTLY! PayPal does NOT charge ANYONE 10% to send payments. So why are they charging their members? Again, they are taking the members money and act like it's all okay. But for the smarter members, IT'S NOT OKAY! I belong to many, many PTR programs and this is the only ONE that charges. I will be deleting my membership within the next month. I won't say why I won't delete it today, but it will be within the next month. I'm fed up and I usually don't quit my programs unless I have a good reason and to me this is another good reason.

Well imacoolmom said the fees were prior to the new owner. So chances are that the terms and faq have not been updated. Didnt this just get taken over? Maybe you should give the new owner a little time to work out the kinks before you start an uproar. Just a thought. But that might be a new concept here.

I don't have a problem with being patient about a new PO getting "kinks" worked out.

I would think that two weeks would be enough time to get most kinks worked out for an experienced PO taking over an already operational site.

I hope that you don't consider .0001 cents per click as a "kink". I am not sure, mind you, but I don't think any site would have lasted long enough to sell if members were already clicking 10,000 to earn a penny. I would think this a new twist. And an absolutely ridiculous one, at that!

What I want to know is what does the PO consider unsustainable PTC links? She said that anyone caught clicking on her unsustainable banner links even after asking us not to click on them will be punished because those clickers are scammers!! Can you believe that?

So if there are links still on there for 1/4 penny, 1/2 penny etc which I consider to be sustainable and then the links worth .01, .001 and yet the famous but yet ridiculous .0001 which ones does SHE consider unsustainable? Furthermore, didn't those advertisers pay for people to click on them?

I assume she meant clicking old 1c, 2c, 3c emails that were sent out before she took over the site. The PTCs there right now are all new as far as I know.

I quite agree with you, BUT, on logging in to my account instead of being over $3 in credit I am over $6 in debit, and increasing each time I click a link!!!!!!!

Don't understand the thinking here but how on earth does she think the members are going to stick with her?

First question, why doesn't Turner (or whomever is attending the site) just expire the outstanding ads? Instead of being rude about it? I still can't believe after all this time, and as many "acquisitions" as this owner has made, she still doesn't understand the technical parts. Or has she done a rollback of the "offending" emails/ptcs? Whatever they were?

If you're speaking about "unsustainable" PTC banners, how are the members to know which are and which aren't? (Well, same goes for the emails, too.) Ads are sold at different times for different prices, and we all know that sometimes a deal or two is made here and there. But if there are PTC's, take them down?

I agree, two weeks is long enough to have given a good once over. The owner has been around the block a few times.

Maybe stop "acquiring"?

Second question, who in their right mind thinks that a half cent is UNsustainable? These are only "pieces of pennies".

Third, MC, if you're still using the email reading practices mentioned in a few threads, one might understand why your account earnings are depleting instead of increasing with each link you "click".

Fourth, Magenta, some folks don't care to be in some programs that are taken over by people they don't respect, care for, believe in, whatever. Human nature. Once burned, twice shy...ya know. Lots of folks stay for Turner, lots don't. Their choice and right.

Fifth, never have understood why a charge for PayPal. Never been "charged" for my earnings through PayPal at all. I understand check and money order fees (although I don't condone what a few charge for check writing and mailing).

Do you honestly think a member has a right to keep earnings they received because the Program Owner wasn't running his business properly? Don't you SolarClick members feel guilty for taking advantage of the previous owners ignorance/stoopidity? You should all be ashamed of yourselves, and thankful you're getting anything at all!

Do you people really think Evelyn Turner should fork over $20,000 to pay the ungrateful members of a site she took over out of the kindness of her heart?

Do you honestly think that because she's removing earnings from members accounts and then replacing a fraction of those earnings that you have the right to consider her a liar and a thief?

And if you do think she's a liar and a thief and that she's ripping you off, why not take some screenshots, print out some of her emails and forum posts, type up a letter explaining exactly why you feel like she's ripping you off and print out a few copies and mail them to her local police department, County Sherriff's office, and State Attorney General's office? Don't you think it makes sense to call the police if you've been robbed?

Maybe the cops won't actually do anything about it. But who knows, maybe if they get 100 envolopes stuffed with "evidence", they just might look into it.

You know...here is the great thing about the PTR world...it's totally an opt in thing...you don't like it move on. People complain about not getting paid but if you check it out and they don't have complete info for the domain or it's obviously bogus...why spend your time?? If someone takes over a site, and you are asked for your thoughts...it's like a speak now or forever hold your peace!

I have a site that I got and was in debt big time...not as much as Solar but it's there. I let the members voice what they wanted...the way I see it it's the members site. I just steer the site to where they want to go. And there is no way on this planet or any other that you can make everyone happy all the time. That's not reality.

As for the cheat links...if it's an English reading site then read what you are doing...that's what we are getting paid to do, read...whether in the PTC or emails. Read it and there won't be a problem. If it was an accident (and we have all had those at one time or another) then email the WM and say hey I slipped up....been there done that...It's better then not admitting we are human and blaming others for our mess ups.

I know...I am rambling on. But it's hard when you run a PTR and paying members...if the site is in debt when you walk in it's even harder. Take 5 and relax...and if you aren't a member of said site, then what are you complaining for?

Many sites have fees for payouts. What's your problem with that as it is clearly in the terms and faq's.

In fact, I have never clicked on any of her cheat links because I DO read them even the PTC's. I was just making a statement that the PTC is very deceiving. Fourth, Magenta, some folks don't care to be in some programs that are taken over by people they don't respect, care for, believe in, whatever. Human nature. Once burned, twice shy...ya know. Lots of folks stay for Turner, lots don't. Their choice and right.

Fifth, never have understood why a charge for PayPal. Never been "charged" for my earnings through PayPal at all. I understand check and money order fees (although I don't condone what a few charge for check writing and mailing).

She does not do this as the old po allowed people to clcik on the ads many times as they did not lock the ads or set them to expire. ET must fix this or this site can not be fixed. See the light people. you either get some of what is owed to you or none at all.

I am not taking sides but I do not understand why some webmasters are allowed to take over sites that were driven into the ground by previous owners either intentionally or out of sheer stupidity........while another takes on a site in serious debt and that one is bashed and trashed.

Granted I had a problem with ET over an issue that once we both got our heads straight was resolved.

I may or may not like how she runs her programs but they are her programs. She is the one footing the hosting fees month after month along with all the other ancillary costs that may arise.

I've been taught to only believe half of what you see and hear. There is always two sides to a story.

Until, I don't get paid or get deleted for clicking a few wrong turning numbers because they are hard to see...I will not approve of this thread.

A lot of people prefer cash....so what if the PTC banners are worth a minute amount of cash...it's better than points if you don't use them.

The site taken over could have been let go and maybe that would have been for the best............I have been a firm believer in letting these sites just die but there are those that don't mind doing this.

Making an unsustainable site sustainable takes a lot of changes. I know nothing of the site in question because I am not a member. But, if it was sending out 5 cent links and more.............common sense would tell anyone that it can't go on forever and actually pay people.

I don't know I guess what I truly don't understand about this thread is why some get praised to high heaven for taking over a site that is debt ridden while others get raked over the coals.

Don't you? think it makes sense to call the police if you've been robbed?

Maybe the cops won't actually do anything about it. But who knows, maybe if they get 100 envolopes stuffed with "evidence", they just might look into it.

Or is it more fun to just bash poor innocent misunderstood Evelyn Turner?

All I have to say is that if you don't like something about a site you have opted into, then you better just opt-out of it.

You members have no idea how hard us WM/PO's have to work and what we have to deal with everyday. Just no idea.

Now as for bashing Evelyn, you people are so rude. How can you say anything about some one who tries very hard to make ends meet? Who gave you the right to be the judge, jury and executioner for someone who tries their best with what they have to work with.

Get off your high horses and get a grip on yourselves!

The PTR world is a dog-eat-dog world and you either sink or swim. Evelyn is trying to make things work so give her the benefit of the doubt.

not a member of solar clicks or know what the problems are with the site but I can vouch that I am a member of Igoldclicks and it is run honestly and never had a complaint at all.....BUT wether paid to read or paid to click you should Read what you are CLICKING if not then you get what you get for not doing so...there are other sites that plainly use cheat links in the PTC area to keep members honest and those not out for a reason....and plainly marked if you take two seconds to read it...(ie..click here lose $$$ or points what ever the case...

But would you like to be the only honest member and the rest be cheaters, don't think so because cheaters do indeed cost you a money...someway or another...

There were several sites that I belonged to also that just closed not to pay memebers and just run..surely ET could have let it go down the drain and yall would still be here posting and complaining....It doesn't matter how long you have been running any business it takes time to straighten things out when taking over someone elses business...with that said if you don't like it why post comments like that anywhere why not save the keyboard and hit delete...

Hello

The previous owner of Solar Clicks was charging 10% for paypal cashouts. ET doesn't.

ET is off to a good start at turning this site around. Please folks give her time.
A lot of you are ready to bash her right away. Why? It is the previous owner that put this site in the red, not ET.

I belong to some of her other sites and she has paid me.

As far as clicking banners go you are suppose to read them first. It is a PTR site.

If you are not happy with ET running this site then quit. There is no reason to come in here and bash her.
