1. Change in Terms & Payout Structure

First and foremost, we would like to welcome all new members to First Class
Mail. We are only a couple of days old and are approaching a thousand
members. Thank you.

Unfortunately we have encountered a problem with the structure of our
program. Due to a misunderstanding, we have found that the software we are
using is only able to track two levels of referrals, not three which we had
previously stated on our website. As a result, we have to change the referral
system. We will now pay you 40% of the commissions earned by your direct
referrals and we have raised the second level of referral commission to 15%.

Luckily, we discovered the error prior to sending out any paid e-mails so
there are no commissions to correct.

The website has been changed to reflect this change as well as the Terms of
Agreement. We understand that many of you joined under the previous terms and
are truly sorry about this modification. We still intend to develop this into
a great program for both affiliates and advertisers.

I wrote them as you suggested in the other thread. Judy replied very quickly with thanks for alerting them to the situation and they'd get right on a solution. Just wrote again. I can't think of any program using AffiliateTracking that goes beyond direct referrals. Can you? Do your stats show 2 levels? I show #188 as direct referral and should have #199 in level 2, but it's not showing.

Just received a reply back from First-Class-Mail. Apparantly the software is tracking indirect referral earnings but will not display level 2 names. Here's the reply:

Thank you for the kudos on the website.

The tracking system seems to be
working fine and it is recording
the 2 levels of commission so I'm hoping
for the best. The reports
are showing member direct referrals but only the commission
from the indirects
and not names or IDs. At least commissions are
being recorded correctly which is the main thing.

I'm going to check out the forum when I get a moment. Just been so
busy today making sure my ducks are all in a row but I will definitely
be there when I get the chance. Thanks for the feedback!

Yes there are affiliatetracking ones that go beyond, such as ReallyGet:
