Sorry about your grandpa cheese sad.gif

My other grandpa died 1 month before I was born, so I never knew him. And the other died when I was 16. He had a heart defect and was using a pacemaker... at that point they couldn't replace it anymore sad.gif He was the sweetest grandpa in the whole world and I still think of him daily. Wish he could have seen my daughter...

My grandfather died before I was born so I decided to do some family history research. All I knew was his name, that he had a twin brother and that he fought in WW1. I wrote to the army and looked up birth index and got his birthdate (1893) and his twin brothers name. I then posted on ancestry.com. his and his twins name. I was so lucky. An 81 year old man saw my post and emailed me and said my grandfather had 7 brothers and sisters and he was the son of one of his sisters and whats more he knew my grandfather (who died more than 50 years ago.) Then someone else repied. She was the grandaughter of another sitser and she knew his twin brother. I cant believe it, after all these yeras not only my grandfather but his twin managed to reach me. To me it is a miracle. The only problem is the 81 yera old man after sending me 3 emails full of info wont respond further. But still he told me things I never would have known.
