I have thought of paying out $0.01/message in this forum before. But it seems that this is will not work in long run. Once this payment stop the forum will died. I don't know whether your will agree with this.

There are some problems in managing the stat. Since the software of this forum does not have a function to check how many post did a member post each month. We need to do the job manually by subtracting the total post each month. It will be a terrible task if there are more than a thousand members. :eek:

Humm, paid to leave messages in forums? That would be nice. But honestly I like this forum and there's another that just enrolled. I don't have to be paid to leave, read messages here. But, heck if you decide to, I'm keen - count me in. So, you're gonna see me here more now, but I suppose if one is paid you'll see ALOT more of me! And of course other web surfers!

Well I don't know if members will stay. However I have an idea, maybe you can try something like this week's posts are paid, next week's posts are unpaid, the following week's posts are paid, and so on!

That way it can at least give a rough idea if people will post even if non-paid. What do you think? I don't know how are you going to track how many posts they made weekly though, also I believe you must have some sort of rules enforced so people don't post rubbish just to earn money for posting. Also you need active mods who can help look out for cheaters, etc.

I suppose you will mostly pay by PayPal if you are implamenting this idea.

One cent for a post is not too expensive. But the problem is the workload on tracking the stat. I would rather like to try your idea if I have some way to over the stat problem.
