Hmm since im now 18 and can get tats.. im going to get mine in 2 weekz.. its going to be a devil girl.. no color just a plain one on my thigh like umm really close to something i cant say lol... yeah but if ii change my mind then i will get a playboy bunny sign a really small one.. always been a fan of playboy lol... ok yeah so who else .. C'mon post!!!

BTW does it really hurt that bad.. im sorta scared.. im thinkin i should get a lil drunk b4 i get it done..

Wow suprised there not more people seems everyone these days has one. Anyway as far as pain it depends where you get it like the area i got it they told me it would hurt more then usual but even then it wasnt that bad just kinda feel like a constant bee sting which didnt bother me that much i didnt even need a break, but then again this is comign for someone who get kicked on a regular basis

i heard it hurts a lot.. i was there w/ my old roommate when she got hers on her back and she's usually a pretty tough chick and she was about to cry.. when i giggled at her, she got really ticked off so it must have been pretty painful :ph34r:

I am confident that I have more tattoos here than most of the men, let alone the women! I compete in tattoo conventions and usually WIN~

I have a tat on my neck, a tat on my hand, half sleeves on my arms, many tats on my legs, my booty, and a big one across my heart but my back is being saved for something very special~ I just can't make up my mind which tat to get.

I can say with all honesty, the ONLY tattoo that had me say FARK this hurts LOL was one on my right ankle that goes on down to my foot. No THAT chit hurts!!!!!!

I almost forgot a tat! LMFAO

hehe, i've wanted something small and feminine on my lower back since i was about 16. not a rose or anything like that.....

then when my hubby and i got together he had a playboy cup and i loved the bunny on it......*sigh* that was 6 years ago that i decided i wanted that ~ and i still haven't!!!

I've got a black biohazard symbol on my left ankle. Did it hurt? It felt like someone cutting my flesh very slowly and deliberately with an X-acto knife, over and over and over and....
But it didn't take too long. Had it about 4-5 years and I still love it

LOL Ain't that the truth! Mine took about 5 hours!!!! It is about 6 inches in length from foot to above ankle (or would you consider that width LOL) and goes all the way around my leg.

yeah everyone i know said ankles were very painful, but what is a little pain for a lifeling piece of artwork

I have four: an eagle holding a heart on my right shoulder, a butterfly just above my belly button, a fairy sitting on a half moon on my right thigh, and an anklet of wildflowers on my left ankle.

Just a note - The guy who did my first tattoo (the eagle) told me to make sure that it was what I wanted. He told me that tattoos were more permanent than marriage: he'd had three wives, but he still had his first tattoo !


Edited to add that YES, the ankles do hurt. The girl who did it had a wedding ring tattooed on her finger and she said that it was the worst one she'd ever gotten. I love my husband, but no way is anyone tattooing a ring on me !

I have 2 tattoo....and mine were done as an act of rebellion after my first marriage broke up when I was 29....I have a bunch of roses with a ribbon around them on my right shoulder and on my left shoulder I have a fairy sitting on a mushroom smelling a flower with a moon and stars inthe background....
and I have to say they werent really that painful to get done...

Hubby has a tattoo over his heart and it reads Kaitlyn 12-08-01 in fancy script....he had it done 10 days after our daughter was born...he wanted to have my name put there but I wouldn't let him as u never know what the future brings and what may happen and he may regret having it done but his daughter will always be his daughter......also now he can't forget her birthday...lol

i've had a good size one on the inside of my left ankle for about 5 years.

didn't feel a thing.....till he went over the bone....lol. have to agree with the exacto knife analogy there:)

i was allergic to the red dye....so i DID feel that for about a month afterwards!
the dumb doctor gave me antibiotics that i'm also VERY allergic to (even though she looked me in the face and said it had no sulpha in it!).....ho hum. short dose of adrenylin later....and i think it will be my one and only tat:)

I have an awesome butterfly with tribal underneath it on my lower back. That was my first.

I have a small flower on my right hip.

Ravenn, as far as pain goes...I have epilepsy and one of the most common things to send me into seizures is pain. I have no tolerance to pain. I stub my toe, I have a seizure. Glad to say it didn't happen with either of my tats. Honestly, to me, it just felt like someone was scratching me for an hour and a half. Plus, once the outline is done the area's numb for the coloring. And, the day after, you'll wake up and your skin will be really tight and stretched like it is when you get a sunburn.

I love mine and don't regret them at all. Good Luck Ravenn!!

the snake is reared and hissing/ the wings have claws (becuz i am one WICKED nurse....um, meant in a good way)

I have 1 it is a boquet of roses over my left breast. The roses are 2 small buds, 1 pink and 1 red with a larger blue bud in the middle. The outline hurt worse than the coloring. It was a single needle for the outline but the one he used for coloring had 3 needles.
