Last I heard Richard was recuperating from a car accident and then I got this email on November 29th. Perhaps Enchanted will drop in and give us an update.

It would be nice if Richard would come on and explain to everyone what is going on. I was an upgraded member long before I worked for him, and have clicked emails since terminating that relationship. ETK used to be a great program, but now its gone completely it seems. I think we all deserve an explination, and payments, but I dont foresee any in the near future.

You know, this site used to be great...I was paid once already, before everything started to go south. It seems to be that everything has been messed up for a pretty long time, long before Richard's personal problems began. Everyone's saying "give him a chance", but billiev's given him 4 months...what's his excuse for that kind of thing? I'm not talking about his accident or illness in his family...I'm talking about long before that, it seems like things are not getting done. billiev, I feel for you I really hope everything works out--lucky for ETK you're such a nice person (too nice, perhaps?).

I won't get into all the gossip here (though it's killing me but I shut down ETK for non-payment of hosting as it's on my server. So, we'll see. I've had no response to emails.

Well glad to see people that feel as I do about the so called car accident. Webmasters are figuring out new ways to make a bundle and rip us off. Make pay outs for a while. Get the boycott seal of approval and build a big member base. Rake in a lot of cash from advertising and Leave members hanging hi and dry. Doesn't look like the boycott seal of approval will mean much for long if webmasters like this keep getting approved. We have found out if you complain on the boycott board you leave your self open to being yelled at. Just though I'd post this link for others to read

At any job....If i decide I dont like people work ethic or how they treat people well....I chose not to associate with such people.

I think in work, family and other.....If you promise or make a commitment to something you should do your very best to follow threw on those commitments. ......if you are unable to fulliful the commitment you made you should make every effort to correct it to the best of your ability

As a person who has studied many things such as business. law. correctional services, human service and sales............you develop certain skills (no spelling isnt one of them LOL)...You gain certain ethics, morals and standards that you use as what is acceptable to you...you learn how to predict behaviour and see patterns and if you are lucky you get out before its too late...

If you open a business of any kind and cant keep it going..YOU PAY The people you owe.

When you get money from advertisers....what do some people do with it????? Why do you need to wait to get more money to paid members?? SHouldnt you already have it from the advertisers??

That money belongs to the members..Its not for people to spend as they wish...the profit yes....the rest no.....how would some of these people run a real business??

Much like Dana, I was a gold member at ETK and after talking with Richard about advertising I ordered I was hired to run Electro Email when it was aquired by Richard from the previous owner. I was thrilled at the opportunity to do it as I wanted to see the other side of the GPTR world. I dedicated myself to Electro Email and worked on ETK, and helped out with items on the Safelist, E-Mail Value when he first got it and many other odds and ends he asked me to do. During June and July I got paid, no problem. I last got paid the begining of August. I worked hard for Richard running the program and doing other things on his other programs.
Then I used my own money and placed ads for Electro Email, getting members and then sold them to try to get more money into the program for needed upgrades. This money went into Richards account as he was owner, that money was spent on his own personal items. The program got nothing, and he never replaced it as promised.
He kept putting me off for money though, and then he asked if he could just put my upgraded internet service on his American Express card (as it was needed to do nightly backups for ETK, which on my dial up took about 8 hours each time). He agreed to pay the first two months and installation in return for what he owed me. He called and made the arrangements, they came and installed, and I thought things were okay, then again a month later, no pay. I could see things were falling downhill, so I asked Richard to sell me Electro Email. I put my heart into it and didnt want to see it suffer the fate that ETK is now. So he sold me Electro Email for a much higher price than what he paid ontop of the much higher amount of debt (over 12,000 owed out). I thought it was unfair, but I really have my heart in Electro Email so I agreed to his price and paid him in full. I even offered to continue to help out on other sites if he needed.
A week after I bought Electro Email, he cancelled the payment for my internet service install and the two months, which cost me about 80.00. When I asked him about it, he said he would make it right, and he never has which is why I refuse to do anything else for him. This is a lot of money for me.
When asked about the money, he says he will make it right, yet he never does. He avoids answering any questons about it. I know he was clicking through Electro Emails and earning money, the same days he was in the hospital so injured and sick and I dont think its right. I could be venegeful and delete his account, but I wont unless he is inactive, cheats or otherwise. But I only think that it would be right for him to pay what he owes, not just disappear, and I am not the only one he has done this too.

I agree with Dana ... where does this money go that advertisers send??? its not our money its the members money oh and of course some goes to pay the hosting. ( it a very rare we actually make any money with low payout GPTR programs believe it or not ...)

Its because of this reason I dont send my personal links to TMC which is a no minimum payout program ... if I did I would be broke in a week! (a 1 cent ad to all costs around $50 if it was 100% click thru) it doesn't take alot to work out what it costs to send to a large database like ETK especially without many advertisers

At the risk that you will be getting all over me:

Flanneljava someone told me, from the tkoforum, that she had the passwords to his accounts and "did" his mails during the time he was in hospital. Are you sure it was Richard who clicked or could it have been someone else who logged into his e-mail accounts and clicked them? That's what I like to know.

Further more although several payments have not been made, which is strange, why not give him a bit more time? (I am not talking to you Cynthia I can understand that at a certain point you shut the site down until you receive payment). Although not likely... you don't know what happened, perhaps there is really nothing he can do about not getting online and is someone clicking for him. (there are still sites online from him, not all but some are).

To Richard in case I am entirely wrong and you are in full health and frequently online, "Wow!!"

Last but not least, I might not be the only one in the gptr business who has his address, but I do have it and that is ONE of the MANY reasons why I still believe that he is ill or that there is another good reason why we don't see him. Again I might be entirely wrong. But it doesn't feel that way, it's just not Richard to do such a thing, let's hope for all that I am right, although I am sure you think I am naive (to say the least).

the point is ... he hasnt been ill since August which is when some people requested payment and are yet to receive it ... 4 months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for payment!

I was talking about his address in the UK (meaning he has more houses to live in than one).

And as far as I can see RIGHT NOW he is not clicking any of his mails, his mailbox is full that is another reason (of the many I have) that he isn't online. Just wait, unless he is 6 feet under (God Forbid) he'll be back.

Apparently the dog was into visit him......I dont know what hospitals are like in the US....but here in Canada they dont allow animals in the hospital??

And if "several Hours" after your accident you have access to a laptop.....instead of chit chatting with people who just caught you on line....wouldnt you take the few minutes to send a mail to your members of all your programs right quick to let them know whats going on??

I bought E-mail Value with the debt as well and have worked very hard to make it a great program.....I have paid many people within hours of requesting it. I have upgraded the scripts..changed the look....at one point I even had a disclosure on it saying I would not be held responsible for what Richard did or does...Some of his sites still have EV listed as HIS.....I was ORDERED to remove anything that had to do with TKO off my sites within hours.....He REFUSED to remove links to E-mail Value...Sounds fair????

I pondered over telling people exactly what Richard was up to......for fear people would accuse me of attacking him......This is not true....Members and advertisers alike...have the right to know. DOnt you think before people spend more money promoting it????

Many of us who have issues with Richard have emailed him and tired to talk to him.....with no result.... What other option do you have...when he contiues to do the same thing to people time and time again??

I am sure I will take crap too for finally coming forward about Richard. Like Dana I have waited and tried contacting him and solving these issues off the forum first. But he does not pay attention to those.

Richards friend who had his passwords to click his links, have they moved into his home, oh I know, he has his dog Madam doing it for him, is that right.

And isnt amazing, with Richards huge messenger list that the nurse just happned to have it all loaded on her laptop computer. she probably loaded it for him while Madam visited with him in the hospital.

There is nothing wrong with the scripts, unless Richard has tried to modify himself with the Learn PHP items he bought with Electro Emails money. The place Richard got his scripts has an outstanding reputation, I run the same exact script with no problems at all.

I dont expect to see Richard on here, I will never get paid for the work I did for him. But hopefully my loses will help prevent someone else from being scammed by him. Dana, and Enchanted and I have all worked for Richard, and we have all left. Its not a singular situation. Beware if you deal with Richard.

Fist of all i would like to support dana and shannon in this, not being paid for work done isn't fair.

Also i would like to understate that indeed richard has been online several times while in the "hospital"

Third of all i would like to tell people that richard's account has remained active all the way from before until even yesterday.

I think people have to be carefull before calling someone a scam, but i think that in this case it's a bit too obvious.

If anyone of you would be in richards shoes tight now, wouldn't you try the world to get things straightened out?

Being online chatting with people while in the meantime you could have sorted out problems doesn't seem right to me.
