The great Marlon Brando has passed away according to the AP (Associated Press)...

shockingly, they also claim he was "20 million dollars in debt and living like a recluse" (just heard that from the ABC news anchor)..with all the $$$ he earned from his movies is this possible???

Most of the old timers who made films long ago don't have royalty right from their hard
work. We think we see scams now in PTR world nothing compared to some of the scams that went on in old Hollywood and still sometimes today.

actually he amassed great wealth from his movies-royalties or not BUT 3 divorces and enormous legal bills (his son was convicted of murder when he killed his sister's boyfriend and other legal stuff) wiped out his $$$ sad.gif

His life was devastated over the murder conviction of his son. sad.gif Great actor and had some wonderful films to his credit.

I loved Marlon in On The Waterfront. I truly think that his role in that film was one of the best acting jobs ever.

R.I.P. Marlon - you've had a tragic life in the later years.

Two years before Brando declined his Oscar for Best Actor in the 1972 movie, "The Godfather", he'd applied to the Academy to replace the one he'd won for "On the Waterfront" (1954), which had been stolen.

Are those the two films he's best known for?
