I am really getting sick and tired of this site, I thought Makolinks was bad for Pop-ups, but this Paid-Traffic has got to be the King of Pop-up invasions.
when ever I click a link, and sometimes It doesn't specify until afterwars that it's an ad for paid-Traffic, my browser is bombarded with Pop-ups, when I close one another pops up, they seem to breed like an aneba ( pardon my spelling, no spell checker here LOL)
I can count at least more than a dozen Pop-ups from this one site, and they are slow loading, so my Pop-up blocker doesn't even recognize them as Pop ups until it's too late, and they can be just as hard to close once open, this is a real pain in the hiney.

Download the Mozilla browser. It doesn't allow any popups at all, and if you want to allow popups from a site you have to specify the url biggrin.gif

Thanks for the advice, but why should I have to install more stuff on my PC, just to prevent these obnoxious Pop-ups, and If they get through my POp-up blocker , what's to say that Mozzilla will stop them

charmeyn: I use Paid-traffic and unless the person is promoting the popup links, then you should never see them. If the link being used is anything other than the nopop.php link, then you will get the popups. There is a 1, 2 and multiple popup link within the site.

All the same, it's still frustrating to have to put up with, and chase those pop-ups, the ones that expand and you can't click the "X" button until the pop-up has reached it's maximum size, or they float all over the place, these are the sort of Pop-ups I'm seeing from this site, one wouldn't even close, so I had to CTRL, ALt Dl which shut down everything I was doing. And in between the pop-ups I get these "Active X error messages" that I aslo have to click, adding to the problem even more

Who wants to use IE anyway when there are several browsers that are a lot better.
Opera, Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox seem to be the best browsers around. According to a comparisson I read this week the new Mozilla Firefox is the best and I am using that for a long time already.

Why install a pop-up blocker if you have a browser that has it included.

I haven't had one single unwanted popup anymore since I use Mozilla. It works like IE, so why not give it a try? It's installed in a jiffy, and if you don't like it you can de?nstal. I hardly use IE anymore...
