WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The panel investigating the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks found "no credible evidence that Iraq and al Qaeda cooperated on attacks against the United States," according to a staff report issued on Wednesday.
The report contradicts statements from the Bush administration that Saddam Hussein had ties to al Qaeda.

They are other side of Story?? Since they are Conserative news.
Im getting tired watching liberal bias in the media. All I heard a negative things like Republican, SUV, WAL-MART and other.
They are need to be Fair And Balance.

This really comes as no surprise. The Iraq war has always been about the oil.

I think you have to look further then gas prices. You have to look what companies benefited from this war and whos pockets got lined.
Oil companies like Haliburton which of course we all know has ties to VP Cheney
Most people will agree War is bad its nothing we all would want BUT on the other hand one must also be willing to admit War CAN benefit the companies (and make them alot of $$) that "rebuild" afterwards

I agree, don't just look at gas prices. Look at how many other things require oil to be made and/or used. Gas companies are just the most obvious. Alot of companies would stand to make alot of money if they kept prices where they are, but the cost of oil was dropped. And most people wouldn't have a clue.

And this somehow justifies the US led military action which has killed plenty of Iraqi children and left many more orphans?
And let's not forget the American soldiers who have been killed, many of them still teenagers. Each one is someone's son/daughter.

On one hand you have this madman in power making the world think he had WMD by continually kicking out the weapons inspectors. and he DID have some, he just used it on the Kurds and Kuwait.
Does it justify it?? Sad to say, yes it does. Whether we created him or not we destroyed him. If the Iraqi people who wanted him gone stood up to him in the first place none of this would be happening. And we are not going around killing children, plus the soldiers who are dying VOLUNTEERED for the service as I did and you KNOW thats a risk you take when you join. They are heroes but I dont feel sorry for them. If I died during Desert Storm I would want to be honored, not felt sorry for or pitied.

Who was president when I almost lost my hearing on Feb 26, 1993 going to Taco Bell in the WTC for lunch? Who was president when some of my shipmates got bombed on the USS Cole and did nothing? Who was president when the Embassy in Africa got bombed. Clinton did nothing because he was too busy gettin hummers from women in the Oval Office.
Admit that. LOL
