Why does it seem like the biggest and best Get-Paid-To programs all have the most controversy and scam-claims on them?

Obviously, you like these programs, so you care about your accounts at these programs a lot more than others.

I've had accounts closed at probably a dozen sites by now (no, not for cheating, i don't know why!)...all except a few of these I've just shrugged off. I didn't even email the owners, I just let it go. I probably would have quit many of them anyway.

How about actually remembering why you like a program?

When I lost my account from TombMailer, things were different. I actually cared about my membership there, it's a great program. So, I immediately emailed Rhea, and I had my account restored, with my estimated earnings within 2 days. I could have been rude and called her a scam, but why would I have? I didn't even know if she was aware of the situation, plus why would she restore the account of someone that was verbally abusing her? I wouldn't if I was her.

Webmasters make mistakes. It's going to happen.

A lot of the greatest programs have had accusations of scamming members. The bigger and better the program, the fiercer the comments get. We've seen it in the forums with both Jay's and Mec-Co. A year or so ago, even a couple of sites that have been around for a long time, Netflip and SearchCactus were thought to be done paying members. Only those that are LUCKY enough to never have encountered any troubles have gone without the negative publicity.

How many members does Netflip have? 2 years ago they had over 1,000,000. So what if a glitch occurs and say, 100 accounts are screwed up?

Let's all go to the headquarters of Trinity Ventures and start firing missiles at the building, right? No.

Give webmasters a break, mistakes are going to happen.

Those that start threads in the forum complaining often aren't trying hard enough through personal contact to rectify a situation. Obviously, there are instances where program owners are there just to scam members, but 98% of the time, that's not the case.

Would you really blame Jay if he lost 10 accounts, so that he was *ONLY* 99.96% efficient? That a ###### of a lot better than some other owners out there, that cause HUGE problems, but no one cares about the company since they don't see it as a nice earning possibility.

So everyone, instead of going on a rampage when a mistake happens, understand that errors happen, okay?

Thanks for reading!

I have never complained when I go into a site and see that I have lost referrals or money....I know that there is most likely a bug and I wait a couple of days to see if everything has worked itself out. I can honestly say that 100% of the time, this is the case. I have never emailed a webmaster....

Hi,

I know a lot of very nice webmasters, I don't care about glitches, problems or anything, those things happen .... the only problem I have is when webmasters attack the members and call them names ..... and it happens too often these days .... webmasters should respect their members and anyone on forums the same way they expect their members to respect them, they should allow their members to speak up freely the same way WM speak up freely to defend themselves ....

I feel a lot of webmasters begin to think they are allowed to play dictator and censors, running over all the forums praising themselves and showing off whereas they refuse anyone else to comment it .... and no one needs to try to have those webmasters down, they will go down by their own mistakes, I don't doubt it ... and even regret it because a lot of members will have lost time and money trusting those webmasters.

I agree people have to be fair to webmasters and I really appreciate webmasters being fair to their members ...
I guess/hope everyone generally tries to mail webmaster b4 posting in open forums when a problem occurs.

Maybe we don't hear that much about smallest GPT because those running them have a job, a family, a GPTbusiness to run and no complains all around the net ... so, they're really busy and they don't need to post all over the place ;-)

And to make things clear, I am not pointing at anybody, if you think of someone, it's maybe because my opinion is not completely wrong ;-)

I also take this opportunity to thank all the webmasters who run all those sites very well and those with whom I had fun in chat etc .....

And especially a huge thanks to lgwong and his team, doing a great job here, I really appreciate and respect their way of dealing with fairness with all different people having different opinions.

My 2 cents

A lot of the problems can be solved by WM and members communicating with one another. How many times have accounts been deleted (loss), referals missing, earnings showing a difference because of script changes.
Wm before doing these changes out to send out e-mails to all their members and advertisers giving them advance notice. This way they can save their account information in case it gets lost.
T-T-T program has only been up for a short while but their has been already a few head ups messages from the WM. I find it funny that those that specialise in message advertising fail to use their own e-mailing system to let their members know about what changes that may affect them.
