Why does it seem like the biggest and best Get-Paid-To programs all have the most controversy and scam-claims on them?
Obviously, you like these programs, so you care about your accounts at these programs a lot more than others.
I've had accounts closed at probably a dozen sites by now (no, not for cheating, i don't know why!)...all except a few of these I've just shrugged off. I didn't even email the owners, I just let it go. I probably would have quit many of them anyway.
How about actually remembering why you like a program?
When I lost my account from TombMailer, things were different. I actually cared about my membership there, it's a great program. So, I immediately emailed Rhea, and I had my account restored, with my estimated earnings within 2 days. I could have been rude and called her a scam, but why would I have? I didn't even know if she was aware of the situation, plus why would she restore the account of someone that was verbally abusing her? I wouldn't if I was her.
Webmasters make mistakes. It's going to happen.
A lot of the greatest programs have had accusations of scamming members. The bigger and better the program, the fiercer the comments get. We've seen it in the forums with both Jay's and Mec-Co. A year or so ago, even a couple of sites that have been around for a long time, Netflip and SearchCactus were thought to be done paying members. Only those that are LUCKY enough to never have encountered any troubles have gone without the negative publicity.
How many members does Netflip have? 2 years ago they had over 1,000,000. So what if a glitch occurs and say, 100 accounts are screwed up?
Let's all go to the headquarters of Trinity Ventures and start firing missiles at the building, right? No.
Give webmasters a break, mistakes are going to happen.
Those that start threads in the forum complaining often aren't trying hard enough through personal contact to rectify a situation. Obviously, there are instances where program owners are there just to scam members, but 98% of the time, that's not the case.
Would you really blame Jay if he lost 10 accounts, so that he was *ONLY* 99.96% efficient? That a ###### of a lot better than some other owners out there, that cause HUGE problems, but no one cares about the company since they don't see it as a nice earning possibility.
So everyone, instead of going on a rampage when a mistake happens, understand that errors happen, okay?
Thanks for reading!
Aaron (who's probably made at least a mistake or two at his site)
