Did they charge that to your credit card? If they did, then you should be able to get back your money from your bank/or institution that you have your cc with.
sirmotz
i know but my CC company said that they could do nothing... i wrote SFI a really threatening letter saying that I was going to boycot them. when I sent them this letter they took off 1 payment... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!! If there are any other sugestions.. let me know plz u guys might find this funny:this is the second letter

This is a very simple matter where SFI charged me for something that I did not want and I want my money back.....
You said that i should read the emails more closely... so should you... I said THAT I PRESSED CANCEL>>> NOT CONFIRM on the order form.. secondly, I did not recieve ANY confirmation emails saying I wazs SUBSCRIBED to anything ( if I didnt know I had subscribed, how could I cancel the standing order ... which I am assuming thatit was placed under)I only recieved email saying that I had X ammount of days to becomre a platinum member.. I clicked the link and then changed my mind... ( PRESSED CANCEL) Third, I did NOT get the sellers commision for the sale.. I have a screen shot of monthly earnings.... along with several other screen shots that I will save as a surprize should the need arise

Now for more "threats".. I have already sent out 2000 paid emails to people warning them of SFI's actions... I have $37 in paypal and $14 in egold... I have struck a deal with several webmasters who hate scams and can get another 28000 paid emails sent out with the same warning... I know that boycotting SFI wont put them out of business... But it will cost them thousands of dollars in lost affiliate revenue each month ( which will snowball of course )... All it takes is 1 bad review from sombody about a MLM and a targeted person WILL NOT join.. simple as that... Skeptisim works wonders eh??

I have a full time job and can and will afford to send out the same number of emails per month (30000)if not more. I estimate that only half the people actually read them(15000) and half again (7500) will take me serioulsy.
That is at least 7500 new affiliates a month.. And I WILL continue to do this each and every month untill i get my money back. Do not forget the free classified ad places.. they usually dont check their ads so I dont actually have to post an ad... Just a warning about SFI..:)And of course we have to include all the FFA sites.. I have a neat little program that will submit to over 1 million FFA sites...I know not too many people go to these, but hey.. every person against SFI counts right? I figure only 10% will see the warning in FFA sites but that 10% equals100000people each day that will see that ad 1000000 people - 90% = 100000that is figuring only 1 person in every 10 sites sees the ad.. wow that is quite a bit huh? i can do all of this with 2 mins of work and 30 mins of cpu time.. not a problem..
Also I will have several friends post a link on their website "scam alert" links... It will link to a web page That I will make. It will describe what you are doing... all of my screen shots... and all of SFI's letters ( including yours. so be nice from now on... wouldnt want to give the company a bad name eh??lol)

I absolutly hate it when big companies such as SFI take advantage of the small time people who want to earn some extra money.. All the boss does is think about himself...In fact.. I am requesting that this letter be vrought forward to the boss.. I bet he doesnt even know half of what goes on in his company.. he is just sitting there raking in the profit... It is programs like SFI that make people think that ALL these get paid to things are scams... now I know why...

I will be sending out the second batch of letters in 24 hours from now if I do not hear back from you. SFIMG has made a very deadly enemy of me.. I will not stop until I have been FULLY refunded.. I am very stuborn and if losing thousands and thousands of dollars for SFI is worth 48 dollars... then I am game... i am more than willing to play and actually enjoy these types of confrontations. It lets me have fun destroying my enemy.. And guess what... There is absolutly nothing SFI can do about it because we have this wonderful thing in Canada called Feedom of speech.... If you find a way around that we also have freedom of the media...lol.. I can say that i am doing a report on marketing groups and WILL actually do the reports for no other reason than to bring SFI less business

REMEMBER: ALL IT TAKES IS FOR ONE ###### LIKE ME TO SAY THAT SFI TOOK MONEY WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION AND MOST PEOPLE WHO SEE THAT WILL NOT JOIN!! ( And it is not lying because SFI did )

LOL another idea just came to me... i will buy a HUGE mailing list and send out warning to everyone! that should decrease traffic to SFI.. and one last thing... how do you think your current affiliates will feel when they hear about this?? dont forget that I can always start anotheraccount and post messages on your forum board.automatic registration is cool... HEY!!! I can also post messages on lots of other forum boards.. And my auto responder can send an email to everyone who emails me warning Them of SFI!!! heh... this account (zwallet) gets around 200 emails a day.. If I set the responder they will all get warning messages... The possibilities are endless it seems... you can of course save all this trouble by simply giving me my money back!!!!!

Have a nice day!!!

Don't know much about them . They never really interested me , but I sure admire your moxie . Let us know if you get a response fromt them and don't forget all the free safe lists out there too .
Poncer
WorldSCAM.com listed them as a scam program. I guess this is why? Too many complaints about them charging your credit card without your permission.

I am not saying that they dont pay out... what i am saying is that they fraudulenty charged my CC $ 98.37 for two(2) magazines.. WHO THE ###### WOULD PAY $100 FOR 2 MAGAZINES???!?!?!?!? not only that... but i did not even get these magazines that i supposedly ordered... ###### is up with that?? by the way, do you plan on staying with them??I know you might say i am jusy making this up... but I wouldnt go to all the trouble of writing that long letter would I?? just watch your CC for any other charges from them that shouldnt be there.

TO EVERYONE

If you guys would be so kind as to join my campain against SFI let me know... I dont really have that much money in egold or paypal... I was just trying to scare them. I would like some funds.. so if there are any programs out there that you want me to join or searches you want me to do let me know... EVERY cent i get will go towards boycotting them..

donations would even be welcome... though I dont think anyone will aa.gif
funkymotha
No one gets one of those magazines if they are 'international' not even the 'free' ones

SFI was my first attempt to make money on the net ... and never made a dime .. infact I paid out a lot on advertising and even bought a 'magazine' that I never received.

ha yes it does i suppose... but the point is even without the PAID emails... there are plenty of other ways to boycott them... I mean look at the number of views this 1 complaint has!! 145 right now.. I am willing to bet that most of those 145 people WILL NOT join SFI ( the people who dont know about them ) Heh I love it!!! so i guess that means that i dont need the money

the donation thing is cancelled!!!

ANYONE WHO GAVE ME MONEY WILL HAVE IT RETURNED!!!

thanks anyways guys aa.gif

It is a shame and the truth, but many programs out nowadays are owned by dishonest fraudulent people, whose only interest it is to grab as much money of yours as possible. Most programs that say you will get rich quick are BSing. Many PTR's are scammy, with low payouts and very low paying links or very high payouts and also cheap links. There are a few great webmasters out there and the Paid To Industry is great, but there are cheaters and dishonest folk who have made it a lot worse off than it was a few years ago. How I dream of seeing programs like AllAdvantage return...

Ooh and read thru this ....

... A woman responds to a newspaper advertisement offering a free
"trial" pair of pantyhose. She is surprised when she receives a
package of four, with a bill.

... A man receives a pocket knife that he never ordered. Despite his
objections, the company continues to send him dunning notices,
threatening his credit rating.

Thousands of people are placed in similar situations every year.
Fortunately, they do not have to pay for merchandise they did not
order because federal laws prohibit mailing unordered merchandise to
consumers and then demanding payment.

Here are answers to some questions you may have about unordered
merchandise.

I RECEIVED AN ITEM OF CLOTHING THAT I NEVER ORDERED. AM I OBLIGATED
TO PAY FOR THE MERCHANDISE OR RETURN IT?

No. If you are sent clothing, cookware, linens, office supplies, or
any other merchandise that you did not order, you have a legal right
to keep the shipment as a free gift.

IF I KEEP UNORDERED MERCHANDISE FOR FREE, MUST I NOTIFY THE SELLER?

While you have no legal obligation to do so, sending a letter stating
your intention to keep the shipment as a free gift is an advisable
precaution. Your letter may discourage the seller from sending you
repeated bills or dunning notices, or it may help to clear up an
honest error. You may want to send your letter by certified mail and
keep the return receipt and a copy of the letter. This will help you
to establish later, if necessary, that you did not order the
merchandise.

If you ever receive bills or dunning notices for unordered
merchandise, you can use the same approach. Write a letter to the
company stating that you never ordered the item and, therefore, you
have a legal right to keep the merchandise for free. Again, you may
wish to send your letter by certified mail and keep the return
receipt and a copy of the letter.

THE UNORDERED MERCHANDISE I RECEIVED WAS APPARENTLY THE RESULT OF AN
HONEST SHIPPING ERROR. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Write the seller and offer to return the merchandise provided the
seller pays for postage and handling. Give the seller a specific and
reasonable amount of time (i.e., 30 days) in which to pick up the
merchandise or arrange to have it returned at no expense to you.
Inform the seller that after the specified time period has passed,
you reserve the right to keep the merchandise or to dispose of it as
you wish.

IS THERE ANY MERCHANDISE THAT MAY BE SENT LEGALLY WITHOUT MY CONSENT?

Yes. Free samples that are clearly and plainly marked as such, and
merchandise mailed by charitable organizations asking for
contributions may be sent legally without an order from you. In
either case, you may keep such shipments as free gifts.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM SHIPPERS OF UNORDERED
MERCHANDISE?

When participating in sweepstakes or ordering goods advertised as
"free," "trial," or "unusually low priced," be especially cautious.
Read all the fine print to determine if you are joining a "club,"
with regular purchasing or notification obligations.

Also, if you are considering a purchase from a mail order company,
learn as much as possible about the company's reputation and return
policies to avoid a substitution problem. When placing an order by
phone, keep a record of the name of the clerk who takes your order;
the company's name, street address, and phone number; the price,
description, and item numbers of the merchandise you ordered; the
total cost of the order; the method of payment you used (e.g., check,
the credit card, C.O.D.); the method of shipment and anticipated
delivery date; and the date you placed the order. When ordering by
mail, make a copy of the order form, which should contain comparable
information.

With either method of ordering, it also is useful to keep a copy of
the advertisement or catalog that led you to place the order. This
may make it easier to contact the company if a problem arises.

WHERE CAN I GO FOR HELP IN DEALING WITH UNORDERED MERCHANDISE
PROBLEMS?

Always start by trying to resolve your dispute with the company
itself. If this is unsuccessful, you can seek assistance from your
local U.S. Postal Inspector, your state or local consumer protection
office, the Better Business Bureau in your area, or the Direct
Marketing Association, 6 East 43rd Street, New York, New York 10017.

Although the FTC cannot resolve your individual complaint, the agency
can take action against the company if it finds evidence of a pattern
of deception, unfair practices, or statutory violations. Send your
letter to: Correspondence Branch, Federal Trade Commission,
Washington, D.C. 20580.

HuH. That sounds wrong. If you live in the USA. Contact your state attorney general office. Their are laws in most states to limit what your responsible for on CC concerning different charge issues. Especially if you did not authorise it, its fraudlent use and you will have zero responsibility. Depends on the state. Charge Cards companies representives often LIE, because their left holding the bag. They rather you take the loss not them. Contact your attorney generals office today. Its free, just forms to fill out. You should win this with no problem. They do all the work.
