anyone in here working Midnight Shifts? What is your Experience.
I have work at least 4-6 times in Midnight Shifts two years ago. YOu get sleepy YOu are not use to work at Midnight.
You have to drink a lot of Coffee to stay awake.

I am not currently working night shifts but have done so in the past. If you do it for awhile your bidy will adjust to the new schedule. I don't like coffee, but can drink a 2 liter bottle of diet dew during one night shift.

I think a midnight job would be perfect for me since I am a night owl anyway. I've never worked one though. Call me a wuss, but I don't think NYC is the best place for a girl to work midnight shifts

, especially since I've known so many people who've been held up.

Same here
Maybe it's all the YMCA I've been doing lately
I work best during the night, I so hated going to work at 8 am
I don't usually even go to bed before it's already the next morning so no problems over here, not to mention it's so quiet everywhere when "normal" people are sleeping, barely no one driving on the streets..just love it!
If you really want to make me angry, wake me up in the morning

I dont work 3rd shift as I would call it, but I do work 2nd shift from 3pm till 11pm. Then after I get home, I have to wind down before I get to bed so really its about 4am before I hit the sack.
So if I had to work 3rd I could and have no problems with it...I'd rather work 3rd shift or 2nd shift....I hate mornings so no 1st shift jobs for me

I've worked night shifts since I was 17. Every Job I have had has been 3rd shift. I did try swapping with someone for a week though and worked 1st. I tell you what, you 1st shift guys can keep that mess all day long! you couldn't give it to me! Too many Boss wannabe's running around (IT was a plant environment) and not enough Indians! Everybody wants you to do something different at the same time, ACK! Gimme good old 3rd! 1 Boss, hiding in his office, sleeping mostly, letting me actually DO what I was Hired to do! No Engineer's running around saying "Let's try this new experiment, and messing up your production for the day, cause they totally messed up your machine(s) (I was a machine operator at the time)......Ahh the life of a third shifter, just dont stay up half the day when you get off, go right to bed and get up in a couple of hours and have the rest of the evening before going back in.....I totally love it..

I used to work 2nd shift (3PM - 11PM) and that was probably the best for me. I did 1st shift (7AM - 3PM) and I hated it because I am not a morning person at all. 3rd shift (11PM - 7AM) would have been okay but like I said before, I am a wuss.

Did you boss you got fired sleeping in the JOb. THe guy still could get fired. I don't care if you are the boss of the company. The president of the Company have the right to fire THe Boss.
Sleeping in the job if you are a boss. It is unfair for regular employee.

That was the same with my former job. I worked at a hotel which never closes lol. I did my best to get out of working holidays, but sometimes we'd all have to do a 4-hour shift to be fair.

New Years was the best because we actually held a party there every year. That was the one night I didn't mind working because the "dwunks" kept me sooooo entertained

Although I always got out of there by 9PM, lots people getting an early start
Once I had to call the cops on this one drunk, they had to send an officer to sit outside his room all night to make sure he didn't leave
