Anyone seen 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' yet?

I saw it Friday night and thought it was the best one yet.

I'm a big HP fan and I've read all the books at least twice. I wasn't disappointed by this movie at all.

What did you guys think? Anyone read the book as well and were you happy with the movie version?

Going to see the movie this weekend with all 4 kids!!!

I, too, have read the books---many times and cannot wait for the 6th one.

Also Daniel Radcliff is done doing the movies---so I read---sad!!!

I heard that too, very disappointing sad.gif

Especially now that they have really mastered the roles. I hope the others will continue to do the movies but they are all getting too old.

Anyway, enjoy the movie! You and your kids will LOVE it! smile.gif

Editted to add: I also cannot wait for the 6th book. It'll probably be another 3 years before it comes out rolleyes.gif

Jeter--

the youngest is 2 1/2 do you think it will be too long and scary for him??

I am on the fence about bringing him---the other 3 are 5 and up, so I am not worried about them.

But then again---our 2 1/2 year old LOVES spiderman and Hulk---so HP 3 will probably be nothing for him---lol

I heard the movie. The movie seem to be dark all day long in the movies.

HP3 definitely has it's "darker" moments. (The Dementors lol.) But when I saw it there was a whole party of young children there and they all seemed to love it.

I don't think it should be a problem, especially if your 2 1/2 year old loves Hulk and Spiderman lol. Maybe if you just cover their eyes during certain parts lol. I think there is enough fun, magic, and good things in the movie to make up for the darker parts. smile.gif

I saw it Friday night and loved it.

However, I wouldn't bring a child under age 5 or so. It's got some pretty scary parts. unsure.gif

Haven't seen it yet, don't have the money to go. Not worried it will be playing or awhile.
