2. Genuine Bar has the right to shut down this site at any time and will not have to pay members any money in there account or refund advertisers for their unused hits. (Don't get too scared, we don't plan on shutting down unless hackers force us to, and then we still might refund advertisers and members with large sums in their account, but this is no guarantee)

I don't really like the genuine bar. It's not even a bar, it's like a browser. I can't even get the thing to work. I press a number and it says I pressed the wrong one and no credit. Anyone else having this problem?

Uh huh.
I also don't think the design is up to much, especially the site itself. Looks a bit amateurish if you ask me.
Not sure about this one...

This is a clause that most companies have in their Terms. This is nothing to worry about and I have every confidence that Genuine Bar will act in a professional manner.
Don't get worried until you hear of them actually doing something bad!

Rob, if I open a bank and put in my term "I have the rights to shut down my business and not to refund your money", will you be my customer?

Well since they updated their bar it has improved a little. I still don't like the design that much, but I earned 1.5 cents for a minute I was on. So maybe this program will be good after all?
I understand what you're saying.
I just try to have a positive outlook

Well this program is the bomb now! About 1 hour I have used the bar search thing, I have earned 30 cents! It's so easy to do to. And with the payout a dollar, thats even better. I still have doubts though, theres no way the rates can stay the same. I hope I'm wrong!

Well, I can never get this thing to work. Everytime I try I keep getting a "there are no advertisers left, please try again later", and I never get a countdown. Sigh...

I just downloaded the thing and I get the same.. does anyone know if there is any way to optimise your viewing time, eg a particular time of day to use it? Thanks!

I guess when they get more advertisers?
But the only time i tried it, i got the same ad 10 times.
I guess advertisers wont touch it if their 2000 hits for $10 will be used up by only a few people?
CompanionBar syndrome i think

Ah, don't get me started on companionbar, I downloaded it and realised just by the way it took over your whole explorer and desktop how silly it was. Plus the fact that they said that all of the profits would go to the members, hmm. I deleted it straight away.
Genuinebar could be ok once word had spread and they get more advertisers and improve the bar..
