Just clicked an ad for bluesharkptr, and my computer was hit by -

2 popups
1 popin
opened my media player
hijacked my homepage to a search page, which had 2 popups and a porn popin
and opened my media player, and tried to download a trojan.

My Norton was so excited, I may have missed another 3-4 of these goodies.

All this when I have norton and zonealarm

I have contacted the PO of blueshark.

If you see an ad for it somewhere, please don't click on it.

*double checks* Yep, unsubbed from there already. Fishy smell has come from there before and probably will come in the future also.

I've had malware open my media player before. Check to see if it still works, if not you may need to delete wmplayer.exe and replace it with the proper one.

Isn't that the jerk who just "loved" his sharks...but never backed up their data??

very odd story on that one....he was a real whiner too as I recall...lost all earnings, started over.. why does this report of junk on his "newly improved" site not surprize me??

I guess tigers dont change their stripes...and sharks dont change what they are LOL
