aj.gif I don't know about anyone else, but I have gotten to a point where I will NOT join any new programs unless I know who the webmasters are. In the last 3 months I have been burned by 3 different "NEW" sites. I join, promoted like crazy, built a huge downline, only to have the sites dissapear and "relaunch" and lost everything including my membership. There has also been a serious rash of webmasters deleting accounts that are close to payout without any warning, it has happening to my husband with at least 5 different programs within the last month. I am the webmaster at DustyGold and find NO excuse for the behavior of these people. I am sorry for venting like this, but the clincher that prompted me to send this was getting an email today from a member that wanted me to design a banner for her for the new Platinum Mail program, which she paid $37.50 for a Executive Membership, only to find when I clicked the link WEBSITE GONE. There is way to much scamming going on and everyone needs to stick together and boycott these kinds of programs.

I usually don't join a program unless it has been around awhile and others get paid from it. I think I may have got burned by Horizon Surfer though. Time will tell.

That is rotten ppl take money like that.

Yep, totally with you there, I myself have started to cut my signing up right down, I just don't see the point, you sign for all these programs, promote them and they go missing...

As you say, too many scammers and these ones that delete memberships and restart again should be TOTALLY boycotted!

Don't they realise users are throwing good money into advertising!

If someone opens a site and something goes amiss, please don't just delete the site/membership at least have the decency to try and sort the site out!!!

I think some form of execution involving fire would be appropriate for these kinds of scams am.gif

yes this is horrible... I think people shouldn't start a site if they have no intentions on continuing it.. I don't even know why they bother.. the only way I see it being okay is if they have a problem that's beyond their control and they try to make up for it.. Cause as a new webmistress myself it hurts me when people do that cause then I suffer without having ya'll wonderful members aa.gif

This is why I haven't joined any new programs for months - except Sparky-Mail, 'cos I know the webmistress is a particularly nice person who wants to do the best for her members.

In case anybody doesn't know who she is............see the above post. ab.gif

I only join some selected few programs, in this PTR's.
The ones I join would almost be a must: PenniesByMail, Mec-Co-Op-Mail, OneCentMail, and the like.
I am in PaidBizOpMail and I dont know if they pay.
