I read bank-mails and quitting it in this forum and really think that its right

No - not all programs are bad. There are some very good ones around.

You just need to stay away from all of the ones that promise ridiculously high link values for their ads......No email is worth over 1-2 cents, maybe 3 max......If you stick with the lower link value/lower payout sites you will find many very nice and many truly honest people.

Some progs are good, and some are bad. The best thing to do is to read the posts here and see which are which.

Oh sure...go on and on with the "sustainable" stuff..but...keep ignoring the fact many of the so called "honest" wm dont know their butt from a hole in the ground..

then sit back and applaud when people buyout failed program members like they were gumballs..

well its seems that WM will lose money in this game
as I see someone pay 14$ to advertise and it cost some sites more than 200$ if the members clicked
thats mean if 25% of them reached to the redemption limit thats mean the WM should pay 50$ for each .!

So is there anyone like to lose his money !

not all, but a lot of new ones

I take offense to that...

my site is only a little over a mth old... my payouts are more than my site debt. Aside from the ones that are requestiong a money order no one at my site is owed more than a dollar. Not everyone starts a site to rip people off... I started this site knowing full well that it will COST me money... it is my hope that the site is paying for its own hosting in 6 mths and that in a year i will be making Some sort of profit...

if I had to close up shop today I have enough money to pay every single person all 477 of them what they are owed...

I do this because I enjoy it. I have made what I would like to call a few friends here at GPF as well as with some of my members... In responding to a question email I have found interests with some members in things outside of PTR.. Not planning on getting rich.. ( that is why I play the lottery)

Thunder, you are correct--sites that drastically undersell their ads are bad bets. Looking at the ad prices before joining can help you decide whether the program is worth your time.

My 2 cents if i can.. biggrin.gif

I am PO since 2 months (i know it is young).
My AD prices are realistics (unless specials...) and nobody want to buy !!!

Advertisers prefer cheaper ADS !! they don't take care about "sustainable" or not. They just want to pay the less they can.

It is why on my website my user database grow very slowly. Members (not all) want only 10 cents or more value links....

For honnests and realistics PO it is very difficult to have a lot of members...
Advertisers are not interested to advertise only for 1000 members or less.

When i see a website opened since 1 week, with 2000 or more members !!! I don't understand......

Hope you can understand my poor english.

alain, now that's more like it! biggrin.gif
Your prices are just as they should be.
When I get a few dollars I will purchase an ad at your site.

I do no think pricing is a problem for many sites. I think it is scamming owners. I have not taken my meds today so I am in a very foul mood.

Good for you alain! Sadly it's true that a lot of advertisers are only concerned with cheap ads and by the same token, a lot of members/potential members are only concerned with the huge amounts they THINK they can make from a program that promises the world (but delivers nothing).

Slowly people are starting to understand just how wrong this way of thinking is and those members are learning that earnings are meaningless if they're never paid.

Try to hang in there if you can......you obviously understand the right way to run a PTR!

I am sorry to say this but these are the facts :

Programs with the most members are mostly not the best once.
Why? Because a program can only attract many members if members can earn tons of money in a short period of time.
Because come on, think about it.
Most people prefer sites where they reach 10$ of money in 2 weeks time, than a site where it takes 6 months to reach the same 10$.
Of course those where you reach payout very quick usually dont pay! But people are blind over and over on the IDEA of earning a quick buck!
Now, to be able to pay your members fast, you need tons of advertisers.
To get a lot of advertisers you need to sell your adds really really cheap.
Why? Come on face it, most of the advertisers wants to pay as less money as possible and wants to reach as many people as possible.
And what sites can offer advertisers this? Sites with tons of members and with cheap adds!(see how it goes in circles???)
Most sites that are there to stay are sites with less than 1000 members and where it takes ages to reach payout.
There are a few exceptions, but that is because the site is run by an expert WM who has years of experience!!! and who knows what he/she is doing. Let an amateur or even a normal professional run a site where adds are underpriced and the site is DOOMED from the start.
