This does not sound good to many countries especially Singapore, though part of Asia, our national language, also 1st language is English.

QUOTE
We will soon be restricting the countries that are eligible for NEW sign ups (so it does not affect current members). This is for three reasons:

1) We continue to have a cheating problem, often on a massive scale - one account had 200 names for one person. Almost without fail these cheats are from China or India. We have no intention of removing members from those countries who play by the rules, but we want to reduce our future exposure - they are cheating advertisers, other members and us!

2) A number of emails we send require actions - often a search. I am sorry if these seem boring but that is one area where we can send emails, so you can earn. Response is not good, and one obviosu reason is that the members cannot understand the instructions. So the understanding of English will be essential for new users.

3) To attract advertisers we have to be able to offer members who can read their offers (see above) and are more likely to be able to act on them. Putting it bluntly, members in richer countries are more likely to be able to take up our advertisers offers!

We intend , therefore, for NEW USERS only - to restrict applications to a number of English soeaking countries, or those countries whose population can reasonably be expected to have a good knowledge of English.
We have not finalised the countries yet but it will include EU countries, some eastern european countries, north america, australais and south africa, amongst others. NEW Users will also have to check a box that states that they understand English.

That sounds bad. I wonder should I try to build a Chinese PTRE site. It seems that targeting Chinese audience greatly increase my potential members. But the problem is where to find advertiser for Chinese members.
