The 'CashIndustries' 12 step program to earning money with PTR:
1. Join several established low or no minumum payout programs that pay.
2. Join a few higher earning (higher risk) programs that will make more (if their ad rates are too low they will not be around for very long. it's all a risk).
3. Do all onsite PTC every day.
4. Read all emails every day so you can be assured of getting your referrals earnings.
5. Do all paid searches if allowed.
6. Make your own website to advertise your ref links. (VERY IMPORTANT!!)
7. Put links or a banner to your ref links in your signature.
8. Join autosurf & manual surf programs and click like crazy to get your site seen.
9. Join advertising only sites to earn money for ads.
10. Use earnings when you can to redeem for ads (banners, PTC, paid emails). Especially if you're going to unsub from a program, redeem for as much as you possibly can before you go.

Do I have to refer people to earn money? Or can I make money by PTR and surveys?

you can make money with surveys and PTR, but it will take you MUCH longer to reach payout in most programs if you dont have any referrals.
getting referrals is really the best way to increase your earnings.

i think the main problem why the industry is failing is because there are alot of newbies coming in who don't know about the ptr industry and end up supporting a bunch of SCAM sites.
I would advise that first you find out as much as possible about the industry and the sites that are reputable then make an informed decision about which you want to join.

Not much unless you are good promoter.
I suggest to join few sites with cheap ads and advertise search engines (e.g. SearchDrifter or Omega)
Any comments to my suggestion? This is the best for him, not for the GPT business or users
Oh, and use downline builder.

Maybe the new person should know that AYS takes six months to get you a check ...?
Some other good programs as they are low payout and easy to reach are Nickel's by Email, TLC Email, Earn With Email, Income From Email, Disco Dollars, Bling Bling, Butterfly Cash is great, She also has a redeem for ad and prizes and downloads site that is new. Hauling Cash is great, Grandma Mels, kerosene Cucumber.
You are not going to earn tons at first unless you know how to promote but you can earn some good pocket change if you stick with honest programs.
Check the complaints folder here also the praises folder. Steer away from programs with real high payouts and low ad prices especially if you cant earn a downline. You wont see your money or if you do it will be years from now.
Put a free webpage up and advertise it. Join some programs throught he downline builder here. You will have a few then in your downline.
There are other sites as well including a few email sites on yahoo with download builders and ways to learn to build a downline.

Yes, if you just sign up to any ptre program and don't build a downline, it will
take along time to get paid upto 6 months or longer.
The best way to exploit getpaidtoreademail programs is to
1st. Upgrade your account.
2nd Recruit as many people as possible and encourage them to upgrade
their account as well.
3rd Promote by teaching prospects how to repeat the whole process.
4th Find ways to automate the entire process.
