I need some help with my signature. How do you put banners in there and how do you do those links where it says something, for example emails, where emails is underlined and then when you click on it, it goes to the website.

Thanks in advance wink.gif

When you're typing up your post and you get to the word you want to have a link, click on the http:// button that's just above the box where you're typing - up there with all those other buttons like "quote" and "code". It will guide you through what you need to enter to make a word or phrase clickable. (You have to enter the URL, then you get another box that asks for the clickable word or phrase, if I recall correctly.)

Copy what Murilo posted into the box for your signature, but remove the quotation marks he put around it. Replace YOUR LINK with your referral link. Replace LINK BANNER IMAGE with the location of the banner you want to display.

Here copy this:

CODE

[URL=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx][IMG]YOURIMAGELINK[/IMG][/URL]

ok...
replace xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx in your URL
replace YOURIMAGELINK in your PICTURE URL

I know that I am being really dense here - huh.gif but, I copied and then edited in my signature and it comes up as saying "user posted image" in a box where the banner should be.

What am I doing wrong?

Probably one of two things.

- The URL you're using for the banner is wrong. To test this copy the banner URL into your browser's address bar and press Enter or Go. If the image shows up the URL is okay, and the problem is probably:

- The place you're storing your banner doesn't allow hotlinking.

If you let us know where you have the banner stored and what its address is we can probably figure out the problem easier.
