I had an interesting dream again.
There was this special (maybe royal, maybe a time-traveler) humanoid lioness; she was really smart and she knew how to build some kind of special portal or star-symbol-thing.
And either she was writing a book, or someone (maybe me) was writing a book about her.
And I have a lion avatar at any forum I go, and I am looking for a partner.

edited: Before more people jump on interpreting (no offense, and thank you btw.) - I believe dreams are VERY personal, and that includes the symbols used - i.e. I think we can best interpret our own dreams; and if someone else would have the exact same dream it could mean something quite different to them.

Also, I believe the way you feel in a dream is part of the message. I felt.. well, curious I guess, LOL, at what she was doing; I was like observing her at work (as if she had an important plan or mission to accomplish). A bit later (I was half conscious by then) the dream turned into an idea about a website with an animated travel through a yellow wormhole/subway train tunnel to take you from one section of the site to another, and I was wondering (while still dreaming) if that had something to do with the portal or not.

Another note: I DO recall parts of my dreams every night (and according to scientists we DO ALL DREAM EVERY NIGHT), but I usually don't recall the whole dream (including this time) and often don't know how to interpret it.

Thats a powerful dream you had there dude.
I don't do dream interpretations, but I reckon I can tell you what it means.

The lioness is the bringer of wholeness. Your 'special portal' or 'star symbol' represents wholeness or the suns energy. As you know the sun is the source that supports all life.
In Rune play, seeking wholeness is the spiritual warriors quest. The writing of a book seems to represent a study, like a preparation for self-transformation. Embodied by a natural impulse towards self realization. Your nature requires it.
And as for the other you seek, she'll find you. wink.gif

I'll tell you a powerful and life enhancing prayer. It's called the Gayatri.
Address the sun like this:

You, who are the source of all power,
Whose rays illuminate the whole world,
Illuminate also my heart
So that it too can do your work.

While reciting it, visualize the suns rays streaming into the world, entering your own heart, then streaming out from your hearts centre and back into the world.

try it, it makes you feel good laugh.gif

The Lion

The lion holds a variety of energies and is never what it appears to be. There is great myth and lore surrounding it. The Egyptians linked it to power and wealth. When Moses took the Israelites out of Egypt, each tribe was gathered under its own banner, a lion was depicted on one of them. Today, mankind associates the lion with fearlessness because of its mighty roar.

Unlike other cats the lion lives in groups called prides. They live together in harmony and seldom fight amongst each other. The exception to this rule is related to the female. The male lion is passionate and extremely jealous of the lionesses. If challenged it will act aggressively.

Lions make their homes on the Savannah's of Africa. The coarse grasses and scattered trees of the Savannah's offer it little protection from the outside world and make it a prime target for hunters. Lions are often spotted lying around not doing much at all. They seem to be saying don't bother me "I am busy relaxing." This is one reason why the energy of fearlessness has been associated with this beautiful creature. Lions can teach us the art of fearlessness if we allow ourselves to relax long enough to learn from it.

Those with this totem will find that their life lessons will involve dealing with groups and community in some way. They will also need to pay attention to the particular role they play within that group and work with others cooperatively. Lion people have the ability to be balanced leaders but need to keep jealous tendencies under control.

Within the pride the females are the best hunters. Lions as a general rule are clumsy hunters by themselves but they have learned to develop excellent cooperative hunting techniques for their survival. The females do most of the hunting as well as the rearing of the cubs. The male lion does very little work and is recognized by the beautiful man that frames its face. This gives it a regal appearance and is why it is known as The King of Cats. Both male and female lions are excellent parents caring for the young with gentleness and patience.

Lions do not fight for the sake of fighting. They avoid confrontation and will leave the scene of danger whenever possible and can guide those with this totem out of unpleasant situations.

I just remembered I was recently thinking about that I have always wanted to be part of a group; but a GOOD group, not just any group. I mean a group of like-minded (maybe spiritual or idealistic) people who do not fight amongst themselves, nor gossip, etc. (unlike most groups I saw in school or reality tv); I consider such things a waste of time and energy.
I like cooperation, sharing, synergy.
I have yet to find such a group, but whenever I think about it (imagine being part of it) I feel good.

Both my grandparents (i.e. the 2 that were still alive when I was a kid, one from either side of the family) were Leo's.
And I am a Monkey in Chinese Astrology, which corresponds to Leo in Western astrology.

I think she looks sort of like the one I saw in the dream.

(btw. I don't think I had seen the Stargate tv series yet when I had the dream or started this thread)
