I have waited forever to get my payment from Tasias and when I e-mail him and tell him, he gives me this crappy answer like "Our program is honest". I have waited for about 5 months now and i look in the payment button and my date got pushed back! He said i am due to get paid but it has been awhile now and NOTHING! SCAM! Is anyone else having trouble? Please post! I need help!

thanx!,

hmm I'm sorry you are having these problems..I've been with tasias since the first week of launch (I'm member 496) and have seen it get better then as it would seem slowly decline.. I had a payment scheduled for august 10th and got sick of waiting so withdrew it and upgraded to gold membership (stupid I know and now I'm beginning to wish I didn't argh!!)..

I'm now due for cashout on november 10th through paypal which is now so slow its like waiting for the antarctic to melt..

I wish you luck and I'd email him again about your payment cue being moved!
lachlanm
how much is ur cashout for?

geez, Juliet, you're almost as old as I am ad.gif I'm 269. Yea, the site really started slowing down when it hit the old MEC and the heavy hitters started promoting it. Len just has so many members he can't handle it by himself. I had a feeling that once the memberbase got so large, there would be problems with speed in processing. One man can only do so much. Time to hire some help, I say! I still love this program, even with it's ups and downs, and have always gotten paid. Just takes time..................and more time............... ao.gif
morgan85
I also have the same problem.I was scheduled for payment from August 28th at 10:04 am in the amount of $44.31.When I checked the payment page last Thursday night I found that the time had been changed from 10:04 am to 6:24 pm.I wrote len a letter asking that it be changed back, and offered a few suggestions as to maybe make payouts go more smoothly for all members. This is a copy of the letter I got back.

I then wrote back and stated that several members in the getpaidforum were complaining of the same thing and got a letter back from him stating that all of them were lies,And I know what the time was on my account because I've been looking at it SINCE August 28th.
Yes I am a silver member number #1850 and understand about the differences between the 3 levels of membership, but I think if he went back to paying on a first come first serve basis with a minimum and maximum payout, things would run better for him.

I haven't been with Tasia's as long as many of you, and maybe I am wrong here, but it seems to me that this webmaster is one of the most stubborn and unresponsive that I've ever come across. He refuses to even look at downline problems, and now he's calling a whole bunch of people liars. To be fair, he did respond quickly to one of the two e.mails I sent him, and the answer was helpful, but he never answered the other one.
morgan85
Yea he got real quickly to me to basically call me and everyone else liars.Since I requested that payout I have built up close to $150.00 again. After much thought I used half of it for advertising.I seriously considered upgrading to gold when the special was run recently,But as far as I can tell, there is really not much difference to me in gold or silver.Anything that interests me enough to sign up always shows up in the top. There is no difference in getting mail, and very little diference in clicking eligible links. And not enough difference in the payout times for me to waste my money. As for the advertising,I did get alot of signups in the 4 programs I advertised, but let's face it,80-90% only signed up for the TPL credit and will be deleted in my downlines.I am seriously considering after getting my payment using the rest in my TPL account for advertising then quitting the program.I mean, who wants to wait 4-5 months to get money that they might not be around to use? Anything could happen, computer go down, god forbid you could die, anything.

Thantos, that is so true. I never sign up for anything anymore because if I do sign for something it will be in the downline builder. All those submissons are MANUALLY checked to look for cheaters--people signing up several times for one program, etc. I'm just wondering how one could build up so much in there account? Must have tons of active refs or sign up for every program that hits the board. The most I have ever had is $30 and that was in 5 weeks time. I actually won't advertise there anymore because 99.9% of the people that join programs only do it for the 50 cents--they never participate or unsub after they get their 50 cents. Perhaps the Tasia advertisers need to band together and start a "watch list" in some way ao.gif but I don't know how this would be accomplished. It's a thought, though.
morgan85
I'm not saying it's to pay for life's essentials, but what if you went to work and come time to get paid your boss told you "well,I'll pay you in 4 or 5 months".Would you still continue to do the job?

GPT is NOT work, and you're NOT doing anything remotely productive. But, even allowing for all that, what I *would* do is quit, move on and just stop bloody whining.

It's not work, eh? Darn, I guess I need to write to Daniel Webster. Seems to me that we're performing a service in exchange for compensation. Pretty textbook example of 'work' if you ask me.

QUOTE
Don't bother submitting for the 50 cents (you know you're only signing up for the cash anyway). It is having to check all of those pointless signup submissions that is slowing the whole process down.

Checking the signups is making a difference from a few hours to several months? Wow, that must be quite the exhaustive check. Perhaps the FBI is called in. . .

Seriously, though, if Tasia's really takes that long to pay because of wanting to check out each redemption, then one must wonder if that business model is perhaps a bit flawed. If you get so involved trying to weed out people cheating you out of 50 cents or a dollar that you lose advertisers who are going to pay you $5 or 10 or $20 ..... is that a good tradeoff?

You UPGRADE to GET PAID!!!!!! Only AFTER you upgrade do you find out when you will actually be paid. And yes it does get put back. When I decided to put my request in, I thought I'd do it in time for Xmas. Looking now, there is just no hope!

Considering the the money goes out of someones account for advertising before the ad gets sent out, people shouldn't have to wait so long to get paid! Would he really expect payment for ads several months after they've been sent out? No. Too many programs go down the gurgler....there's those that simply disappear, and those that promise payments for months and months and months.....

And as for manually going thru those sign-ups to check for cheaters....well I joined incentivemails thru that and still got declined! Totally legit, no cheating. I sent an email dated 23 October and have heard nothing back. Which reminds me, I'll just go send it again.
GRL VenCap
yes i agree payout is definately slower than expected

BUT i'am still expecting we will all be paid

kinda like a search engine don't ya think

45 to 60 days wait ad.gif
billiev
as far as getting credit for signups, the advertiser is responsible for doing that, not the webmaster. When I had an ad up--a long time ago--you would not believe the number of multiple submissions that people would make just to get the 50cents. As far as ads being sent out, A LOT of the ads are member redemptions--at least half, I would say. People also seem to forget that about 4 months ago there were less tham 2000 members and no paid mail. I think it has just grown to the point that he is terribly backlogged, and nasty emails of "where's my money" do not help. This is a good program, in my opinion, it has just gotten too large for one person to handle. I for one would rather wait a couple of months for a cashout than to see the whole thing fold up and go byebye like a lot of places do. Yes, I am partial to this program. It is the ONLY program out there that has paid me what it has--over $125 since March, and it didn't cost me a penny out of pocket since I used earnings to upgrade. Guess what I am trying to say is hang on, it's a good program.
GRL VenCap
I agree fellas...we should all hang in there...eventually we will get paid

which is better than not getting paid period aa.gif
Kristin
Then there's those who haven't seen 1c from this program and have belonged to it for months! Me being one of them. I love seeing my $$ go up, but I'm still in doubt as to whether or not payment comes. As the saying goes "you have to see to believe".

I will hang on, as I always do with a program, but the longer payments are, the more doubtful I become aj.gif
Thanatos
ae.gif
GRL VenCap
i haven't seen a dime from them either BUT i'am still hoping cuz with TPL you can earn without a downline aa.gif
billiev
Well, with ANY internet program, no matter how great it is or how good the webmaster is, there is always a chance that it will fold up and be gone at any time, and there is really nothing that can be done- depending on where they are located, that is. The laws are different for each country. If a program is located outside the US, where I am, there is really nothing that can be done. That is the chance that you take with ANYTHING on the internet. If people are depending in these sort of programs to make a living, I am afraid that they are going to be sorely disappointed.
Kristin
Thanatos, do you have kids?

Some of us are home with kids, trying to make an extra few $$. Some of us don't have the luxury of free babysitters, and have to make do with what we can.

Yes, it is work. It may be EASY work, but it is still work. But then, having kids is work too. Probably more rewarding than working 'for real', and a ###### site harder!! I have been to work 'for real' so yes I can compare.

Earning these extra $$ not only helps out financially, it can give people a sense of meaning, like they are doing their bit to help out in family situations. Stop making it seem senseless, it's not!

Kristen, I'm in the same boat, so to speak. I worked my behind off for 16 years until my little girl was born, and I am now a SAHM by choice. Believe me, raising a child is harder than anything out there, but the time I have here at home with her is priceless. I do these sort of programs to have a little spending money, but I do realize that at any time these places can be gone. Would I be disappointed--yes. Would I be mad--no, because that is the nature of the internet. I do this stuff a few hours a day, off and on during the day. I don't devote huge amounts of time to it. If I did, I'm sure I could probably make a whole lot more than I do now. GPT's are not stable, especially now that there are so many out there. I guess I just have the mindset that if one goes, there will always be another one to take it's place ai.gif hehe, like we really need more. There are actually some very good affiliate programs out there that pay very well, but you really have to be a good promoter and salesperson to do well.

I'm with Thanatos on this one, being a person thats done both GPT and joined Affiliate site, I know for one which is the more profitable and it sure isn't GPT sites.

I've been with Commission Junction, Trade-Doubler, etc for a while and although I don't get anything like the traffic Thanatos get or no doubt as many sales (far from it) what I do know though is just placing advert banner, etc is a breeze, take a affiliate called Bet365 (from Commission Junction), I have several banners spread around my sites and over the last few months, I've had FIVE sign-ups...each one getting me a nice $40.00...5 * $40 = $200, just for a few minutes work copying the html aa.gif

I really don't know why I bother with these GPT sites, as the time spent clicking 0.0000001 search links or useless 10 point emails, could be spent scanning the affiliates sites for worthwhile advertisers, etc.

The only downfall with Affiliates is, some of them take a while to pay-out, plus you can spend time advertising certain links, only to find out they disappear from the affiliate site without paying their bills, but with the BIG companies like Commission Junction, these are few and far between.

Oh well, I suppose I should scrap all these useless sites, apart from the few that are actually worth using Tasias, PaidBanners, 1Heluva, etc and spend more time doing my webpages up and getting more into these affiliates.

Thanatos, what affiliates do you use?

thank you billiev. I have FINALLY got my payment today after waiting for like 6 months for it. I e-mailed him again, about 15 times now, and finally got my money. I had to tell him I was posting in getpaidforum and a lot of members were complaining. He hates me now, but that is what you are going to get if you are a mean webmaster who does not respond to e-mails. It was only $20.00, but when you are 17 years old, only make $5.50 and hour and work ALMOST full time, it is worth it doing these programs! And anyone defending Len, the webmaster, is not right, because he is a mean webmaster. Hire some people to help out with the site instead of having tons of members complain. Thanx for all the members who replied. It would be cool if we all kept this topic going.

thanx again guys!,

Pfff Thats bad news guys so im mus wait 6 month for a payment with tasias damz thats long waiting and i have quistion how its going with the search mails om tasias i wanne send a search mail are many people searching and if i advertise send a email (im silver) make i some money xtra ??
GRL VenCap
well almost everyone if not everyone is sending searchmails so the rate is probably not as good as IF only 1 person send searchmail via TPL

and i don't don't think everyone searches ...so the rates are probably poorer

but if you have the excess cash in your TPL and willing to pay $10 to send out to 2000 or 2500+ then go for it

but you mite only recoop 25 % of that $10 spent IMHO aa.gif
lene
billiev i agree that advertisers should make some kind of list as to who to approve and who to deny. I've had a lot of listings there and for the most part it seems to be the same people who submit to all of them. There are a lot of asian sounding names and a lot of eastern european sounding names among them. You are usually lucky to get 10 active referrals from a listing. With my last listing i had one guy submitting 5 different email addresses and usernames but no welcome email so i'm guessing he didn't sign up once so i had him kicked out of the program ab.gif
And quite a few people has made a new email address saying tasias_something@something.something so you just gotta think...yeah right as if you are gonna be active.

I think advertisers should be more aware of the multiple submissions and get them kicked out of the program. It would make it a lot better for the rest of us.

To all those of you who only sign up for the 50 cents (you prolly aren't reading this anyways) stop it and give tasias and the advertisers a break. How on earth is tasias gonna survive when we pay between 10 and 20 dollars to have a program put up but get upwards 100 submissions to that program...especially when they are invalid signups. I'm sure we wouldn't mind paying a bit more if we actually got 100 active referrals ab.gif
GRL VenCap
hmm what about splitting the earnings into 2 sections

one for paid visits & reading emails

and one solely for signups ( the 50 cents thingy! )

what ya think? aa.gif
kglaser
GRL, I think that's a very good idea.

I saw this post over at GPTBoycott...thought it was very interesting and relevant, so I copied it here. It was posted by someone named aaronavouris:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's What I call a collapse
Date and average delay in payment:

Oct 27th 46.1
Oct 29th 44.6
Oct 30th 45.1
Nov 1st 47.0
Nov 3rd 49.0
Nov 5th 50.7
Nov 7th 52.0
Nov 12th 56.9
Nov 17th 60.7

Not good at all.

At this rate, someone who cashes out on December 31st, 2002 will receive payment on:

Oct 13, 2003

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Something needs to change, obviously.

Aight ive been away for a little while and ive got some issues with this tasias program. I tried opening some emails yesterday and more then half the time when i clicked the link it told me that i needed to log in, even though i already was. So i had to click those stupid links 3 or 4 times before the Advertisment showed. Plus i keep hearing that tasias isnt paying members. Whats the deal????

Yes, many people are starting to complain that the time it takes to get paid with Tasia's is getting longer and longer, sometimes several months, but it seems they all get paid...eventually. :/

Well I got a question for you all. Why don't you form your own WM traffic affilate group. You saying you got web sites. Contact the other WM here, recruit them. Make a special page for loging into each site for tracking. Decide if you just want one page or more pages of your sites viewed by one another. Plus decide if each WM has to click on one or more banners. No headaches like payouts for regular paid programs. Just tracking, anyone that don't follow the rules and doesn't return the vists you could boot from your traffic club.
Each of you will benefit with more site vists, banner impressions and clicks.
