Hi,
I would like how to create a spreadsheet to track my PTR program earnings. I have played around with Excel for about an hours. but still can't figure how to create one. The File, New, Spreadsheet ~ options, but I can't make one that I am looking for. I am looking the spreadsheet like CashIndustries.com's and the one in Beenpaid.com (the redeemption log and program log)
Any link to where I can learn to create spreadsheet? or any good software? Any ideas are welcomed. Thanks.

I got tired of messing with spreadsheets and bought the program The Paid Help. It does all the calculating for you and checks your earnings and even does projections on how fast you will earn. The best $5.99 I ever spent lol....

But Excel does spreadsheets if you really want to do spreadsheets. I will check my freebie sites too some small programs will do them for you.

I think you can download the spreadsheet at the CashIndustries site. Then you'd just have to open it using Excel. If it was close, but not quite, what you want, you could monkey around with it a little to get it just right.

If you're new to spreadsheets it might be easier to learn by looking at and changing one that's already created.
CashIndustries
you can download the old excel spreadsheet I used to use here (right click and save as)

Cash Industries PTR Excel Spreadsheet

feel free to download this old version for now, and when I get home tonight I'll make a new blank copy of the current spreadsheet I'm using which calculates average earnings per day and projected number of days til payout based on current balance and average earnings per day.

I'm surprised someone knew that off the top of their head that the file was on my site to download. Good memory dweeble. I had to go back to my site and find it myself. laugh.gif

I also bought the Paid Help and it's nice for keeping up with stats really quickly, but I have more stats in my excel file that I like to keep track of, and the Paid Help does not work for all programs yet.

I ask them about if they were going to add stats on referrals I mean number of referrals one has they are working on that now and some other features to it. Their tech support is great get answers back pronto from them. Their last update they sent notices out before they had it up on the page got a giggle out of that they replied with an apology and the updated page wink.gif

ok, here it is. I just spent an hour updating this, adding instructions, and making it much better than it was.

right click on the link and select 'save as' to download the new and improved tracking worksheet:

I just downloaded this spreadsheet. This is awesome. I am pretty good at spreadsheets, but the formulas always get me - never took the time to get the hang of them!!

I have a problem though - after I put my info in, the formulas for payout and such are not working - they are not calculating for some reason. I am putting in the date in the correct format.

Any clues?

Thank you so much!!

Is it possible you have your Excel program set to recalculate manually? If so, formulas won't automatically recalculate - you have to tell them to by pressing a key.

It's been a long time since I used Excel, so I'm not going to guess which key you need to press to recalculate because I don't want to make you mess something up. I use Lotus, and I know that if it's set for manual calculation and there's something to be recalculated, there will be a little CALC sign at the bottom of the screen to let you know. There's probably something similar on Excel.

I'd be happy to help you out with it.

Is there any way you can post or PM me with a screenshot of what it looks like with everything typed in?

it's really hard to tell without actually seeing it.

or MSN me. my MSN in on the bar below my posts.

Hope I can help you straighten it out.

that is a very good point.

to set calculations to automatic:
open excel. click on the 'tools' link on the top bar, then select 'options' from the drop down, click the 'calculation' tab, and make sure the circle next to 'automatic' is ticked. then hit ok. that should solve that question.

if that didn't help PM me or MSN me or try to post a screenshot here and I'll figure it out for you.

Thank you Cash! I've been having problems with this for 2 weeks now. I can't use any of the programs that are currently out there, since they're for Windows only.

Edited to add: Only the old version converts properly to AppleWorks. But it's what I was looking for anyway, since I am clueless about spreadsheets.
