I am constrained to bring this matter of deletion of my gold member account by Paidpromotions to this Forum Members' attention since the WM has not cared to respond to my emails:
******************************
My first email dated 21st April, to Paidpromotions:
I am a gold member. I have not been able to access your site for the
last 2-3 days. My name is not in the deleted list. Kindly help.
Thanks and regards, K.Ramachandran
Paidpromotions? Reply Mail (22 Apr 04):-
You were deleted for bounced email or inactivity before I started the
list.
My Reply Mail to Paidpromotions: (22 Apr 04):-
There was absolutely no chance of any email of yours bouncing from my side. I am working only upto 30% of my email capacity and it has never been full. Further, I am looking up for PTR emails on my email kidambirama@operamail.com 3 to 4 times a day, and hence there could not have been the question of inactivity since there was no email unread. Kindly check up (something else must be wrong at your end) and restore my access and my gold membership.
My Reminder to Paidpromotions: (23 Apr 04):-
I had sent you the following email (as above) in reply to your deleting my account, but I have not had the pleasure of receiving your response. Kindly do respond quickly as I am very upset for my account deletion for no fault of mine. I am a gold member which should last for life and hence restore it as quickly as possible.
I have paid for gold membership in the midst of my acute financial difficulties and it upsets me very much to get deleted for no fault of mine.

It may be interesting to read extracts from one of the emails sent to members by Y.A.P.S. (Yaps) (Yet Another Paid-to-Read Site) ? If you're not getting emails, it may be because I had to move you to site inbox only because of bounces. Please keep your mailboxes clean!?
Quite contrary to this nice manner of dealing, Paidpromotions have rudely treated its member, more particularly a gold member, who is supposed to be member for life, by deleting his account. Further, their TOS do not make any mention about gold member being deleted and hence their action cannot but be arbitrary. The WM is not sure if my account was deleted for bouncing email or inactivity, both of which cannot be the case. Will the WM refund my goldmembership fee? It is only fair he does.

I have been a member of that site for some time and have absolutely no complaints about Dave the WM
I happen to love the program. WM is always very approachable and polite and answers emails promptly

And also, being a gold member, doesn't mean you can't be deleted for inactivity, cheating, bounced emails etc.
You make it sound like you are better than free members LOL
Your not, you just get some benefits being gold.

Well, you were indeed a gold member, but I agree with Tigress8u here. That doesn't mean that you can't be deleted for breaking any rules. However, you did contact the WM and you were nice about it and weren't rude so I think you should have your account back.
I see that your last email was on the 23rd. Has he replied yet?

My last email to the WM was on 23rd for which I have had no reply. I too loved the site very much and that was why I became gold member. I promoted the site with ads on Icequeenemails and on my own website too and in various other sites also. I did not say or mean to say that I cannot be deleted just because I was gold member. All I wanted to say was that I did not commit the mistakes (cheating) that I am being attributed to and that there was something else wrong somewhere else. If there is any possible proof that I can produce for not committing the mistakes I am being attributed to, I shall be happy to produce them.
May I appeal once again for restoration of my account, to the WM thru' this Forum?
thanks. K.Ramachandran:

Yes, I Also Was A member Of Paid Promotions, I read my email there on a regular basis. I even purchased a ad there. I had not logged in for 5 days. My email did not bouce. I check my mail every day. I was deleted & got the same story.
This Member that has listed this complaint, has a valid point.

I did PM the Webmaster, Mr. Dave, as advised by one of the forum members. He had been very nice and patient. He has since restored my gold membership and was ready to help me out. I have not come across a WM like him who is so very approachable and very responsive and honest. It is very difficult to come across a WM like him. K.Ramachandran:
