This sounds a bit strange, but someone just told me that they think Robbie's husband's name is Dennis. But I'm not at all sure of this.

Best way to straighten this out is for this Dennis person to come on here and identify himself and try to explain his treachery to the members. Did you notice that he didn't put any contact info or anti-spamming info on his email? He didn't even state what the new terms were and the TOS was not updated to reflect the new ripoff status of this site.

A while back, Robbie sent an admin email with her husband's name explaining his condition to us. I kid you not, I truly believe she said his name was Dennis.

Kind of one of those "too good to be true" things IMHO.

I'm honestly not suprised at all. I hate that this kind of thing keeps happening over and over. We all are. But at some point, when do we stop blaming the PO for being a bad business person and start taking on some of the blame ourselves. Some people rush out to join these sites, knowing full well what the site is offering is, well, too good to be true.

Are we partly to blame for adding to this kind of thing? I'm being serious because I've been guilty of doing the same thing myself. I didn't join this site because I thought they were offering more than they could deliver. But I have joined other sites that have either done a disappearing act or pulled an "ads only" stunt.

I do believe the majority of the blame lies with the PO of these programs, but in a way, I seriously think we, as members, are partly to blame too. Maybe we should really start being a little more choosy about these new sites with "too good to be true" promises.

Well....when I joined....the ad prices vs the membership base supported both paying ALL members and having money left for paying the site. And the looks of it would have dumped enough into the site to make up for the $10 sign-up bonus too. I take my calculator to the programs and figure ad prices vs members before I join one...and this one checked out.....at first. So this:

I think that someone should really do a joke to this joker himself/herserself.

My idea: send an email (in fact many emails from many members) to the Planet.com Internet company and make a real complaint of SPAMMING from these 2 IP addys and get this site banned from Internet or at least closed for a while.
