My 2-year-old was all over me when I was working and I didn't see that it was a cheat link! This is such a huge scam!
My mouse has a mind of it's own. I didn't click it, my mouse did all by itself, I SWEAR, please don't delete me from GPF!!!!

I saw the title, I knew it was a cheat link but...
here's what happened. It's clearly not my fault at all. Plus, I didn't think it was all that clearly marked. After all, it looked just like a normal forum thread!
At the exact same moment my finger was hovering over the mouse, and my brain was screaming NOOOOOOO don't click it, my next-door-neighbor's aunt's cousin's babysitter's first-born daughter screamed outside, and I jumped a little bit in my chair. Seeing the motion and sensing danger, my cat jumped down from the perch where she was sleeping, thus waking up one of the parrots, which squawked loudly, thus waking up the other 14 parrots. The squawk of the 12th parrot was unusually loud and somewhat startled me, causing me to flinch again. The cat, seeing the second flinching motion, decided that danger was afoot and leaped into my lap, trying to defend me from the evil 12th parrot (there's a long history between the cat and parrot #12... I can tell you alllllll about it if you like?). At the exact same moment the cat landed in my lap, I moved my finger somewhat, so I didn't click the mouse, thereby averting disaster! Whew. HOWEVER, a moment later, an earthquake struck, the house shook, and the mouse fell off the desk onto the floor. The impact must have clicked the button. Clearly this wasn't my fault.
It could have happened to anyone! I swear! If you don't reinstate my GPF account, I'll post 82 threads in "Complaints" calling you all sorts of bad things.

I was lucky with this account. Can't say as much for the other 10 accounts that I had used to sign up under myself. You would have thought that I would have read more carefully after losing the first 3.
Guess I'll just have to wait a few days and then replace the 10 lost accounts with new ones.

Ah, so you too have experienced the screaming baby-14 parrot-1 cat-1 earthquake-falling mouse occurrence. Yep, it's tragically common. I read in Statistics Monthly (March 32nd edition) that it's the leading cause of inadvertent cheat link related clickings in the entire world! Those horrible WM's that actually delete or debit people who click cheat links (how dare they actually do what they say they're going to do? Who do they think they are anyhow?) ought to really get a subscription to this fine periodical.
Then maybe, just maybe, there will be hope that our plight will be recognized and accepted as the one, true excuse that will be allowed!

I opened it thinking it was similar to others warnings about scams in email . i was expecting to see a link from an email so I could avoid it lol. Oh well silly me for thinking this was a serious warning.
I never got payed from this scamfest of a site either...A cow stepped on my mouse.... Mandy, you need to control those things...
And then a group of ninjas came in and slaughtered the cow, blood guts and other cow things were all over the place, which shorted out my mouse and caused it to think I was clicking, so it kept clicking the link over and over again... and then I saw the timer, and thought oh no it's a cheat link look at the timer go.... but didn't bother to close the window in time... no... one of the ninjas cut my keyboard cord, my only chance was to move the mouse over the X close button, but there was an utter sitting on top of the mouse, and I did not want to touch. And I would have turned the computer off in time, but then I thought good golly that just might somehow format my hard drive because I really don't know a thing about computers... actually I'm using a computer in the library because I don't own my own computer.... maybe I should take up a job at the library to help pay off the damage... Or join the ninjas in slaughtering more cows
