In Spain we pay a lot for a 256/128 kbps DSL ( i have with Telefonica). Almost with all companies is 45 euros/month (about 38$)
What do you have and how much do you pay for it?
thanks

I`m in Australia and I pay $89.95 per month for 256 kbps broadband

I could get a 2 Mb connection with just a bit more but that would be through cable and it's a drag to switch everything again (we used to have cable connection but then we moved), slower connections go with almost nothing these days but I'm not going lower anymore

Y'all have no idea how lucky you are.
I live in the country, and dial-up is all we can get. Connection is anywhere from 28 to 44k depending on the weather and whether it's the weekend or not. $20.95 per month, unlimited--PLUS the extra $15 a month for the local toll charges--$35.95 per month.

I suppose it's better than nothing. One of these days when I make a fortune from PTR

we'll get satellite internet, but until then...........it's dial-up.

im happy with my isdn, its only 126 k but its dirt cheap ($20 NZ per month) and gives 10 gigs of international and unlimited national bandwidth monthly
it loads on the web pretty well, and (the following is gamers' mumbo-jumbo) gives me a good 40-50 latency/ping on NZ servers, even when shared on 2 computers
we tried out a 256 k from Telecom Xtra (no wonder they call them 'Telescam')...it was only 2 gigs national/international monthly bandwidth limit combined and cost almost $60 per month
i could swear it was SLOWER than my old isdn too lol, so we switched back to another isp after 2 days

I buy this prepaid card worth $1 that gives 9 hours + free connection when you use it from 12 midnight to 7 am. I connect from 3 am to 7 am so it's free

It expires after 2 months. Another one is also $2-you get 25 hours of connection. There are lots of ISPs competing with each other that's why the prices are low.
DSL however is expensive, $30 for 25 hours
I'm from the Philippines
