Finland's national flower is Kielo (Convallaria majalis), in english I think it's called the lily of the valley (?)

Very beautiful, small and extremely poisonous, even animals don't eat it.

BTW The USA national flower is The Rose
United States National Flower
September 23, 1986, the House of Representatives passed a joint resolution naming the rose as the "national floral emblem" of the United States. The Senate had passed the resolution in 1985.
The measure then went to President Ronald Reagan. He signed the resolution into law on October 7, 1986 in a ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.
On November 20, 1986, President Reagan signed Proclamation 5574: The National Floral Emblem of the United States of America: The Rose. (Note: a proclamation announces an act by the government; it does not have the effect of law.)

Hi, Mandy, sorry for my ignorance. Yeah, I know you have many beautiful flowers.
Hi Pia, Lily is also one of my favorites. clean and bright", many guys here love lily.
Hi DGE, you know we also have Chinese Rose, with a chn name like "bloom monthly", its in the same family with rose. Seems not so "brilliant" as rose, but a bit "stronger". Not sure if it will be selected as one of the national flowers here. Yes, peony always related to such many stories here.
Hi mardikass, I am also not familiar with your wonderful spirit. Wish I could know her like your Sabones (?), your national basketball team.
Sisterflower, "strong and bright", I can understand why you guys can produce nice cars, fighters etc.

My birth state: Texas
The Bluebonnet. The fields towards North Central Texas down towards South Texas are gorgeous in the spring months. Bluebonnets, Indian Blankets, all sorts of beautiful wildflowers, bright colors...looks like a sea of color.

Sorry, I don't have a host site. But here's a link to see.

The white and lavender Columbine. Gorgeous, too.

Although I see more "white snow" than anything. LOL

It's really hard to say what's the national flower of Poland, and i guess the more Polish people you ask - the less they would agree which flower is a national one. But i think poppy can be considered as one of the nationals.

You can read more here, if you're interested http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art17141.asp |
