Instead of having 2 pay periods monthly, there is only 1 pay period monthly now. Effective immediately starting this month, April 2002. :frown:

MyECom Online will be going to a once a month pay period, instead of
every 2 weeks. With the fully launched Hosting feature, you have probably
noticed that all the hosting sales are being billed at the first of the
month. The current system will give us a great first period and a lower
second.

Therefore, we are changing to a 1-month pay period to even things out.
This change will lighten the load for us and will make for happier
members on payday.

Payment cycles will close out on the last day of the current month.
This change will go into effect this month April 2002.

Why the frown? This is better in the long run. Now the first period wont have all the money and the second hurting for cash. Some were working the first 2 weeks and letting the last 2 weeks slide since pay wasnt that good.

Well actually it has good points & bad points. Not just earn more, it also means waiting longer to be paid, and if MEC account has insufficient funds, I will have to take money out of my own pocket to buy PNC.

Sounds good to some people, average to some people & bad to the rest.
