Full Version: MrEmails Owner Disappointed With Click-Thru Rates
Get Paid Forum - Get Paid Discussion > Get Paid To Programs > Industry Announcements
Rob
The reason why this is posted is because unless click-thru rates improve, all users on the program may have worthless earnings in their accounts.

QUOTE
Welcome to another MrEmails paid email. As you might have noticed the number of
paid emails we have been sending has reduced slightly over the last week or so.
You will have also noticed that the emails we have sent are mainly paid
searches. This is due to a nubmer of reasons:

1) Firstly due to the low response rates we have been recieving I can no longer
promote the new paid email companies that are coming out.

2) The number of advertisers has reduced dramatically becuase of new CAC sites
having dirt cheap advertising rates. People would rather advertise on their site
than ours.

There is no easy solution to this problem. But I can say that unless the
clickthru rate improves this situation can only get worse.

I am not having a whinge here just letting you know were we stand. I have spent
alot of time and money on this site and would hate for it to go wasted. The end
result is in your hands.

It's a shame to see such an honest company doing so badly :frown:
MrEmails
Just to clarify that the company is not going to disappear. Rob was just reading bewteen the lines there. I was just stating that if these rates do not improve then the number of paid emails will always to be low

Hope that clears everythign up

thanks

I think the condition will get worse because of 2 reasons.

1. Approx one CAC site is appearing everyday, the supply for this paid email ads is increasing everyday, the price for ad will definitely drop.

2. Those high minimum payout site hurts the other sites alot, their signup bonus attract a lot of members and they can run at a lost to get ads, this drives the price of ad lower.

The 2nd point cause the greatest damage as these high minimum payout site use a hit and run tatic. They just collect money from advertiser and very unlikely that they ever need to pay a single penny to their members. Sites that run properly cannotcompete with them as their cost of running is zero.

I agree completely with what you are saying. Its a shame there is no solution to this problem because the industry is dying...

Thanks

It's not dying... just that there are too many competitors, only the most creative, active & strongest ones will stay around for a long time.

No matter how strong and how creative you are, you cannot compete with someone who is using the zero cost strategy, unless you follow suit. Unless the public know what is behind these site, no matter how hard to run our sites, we will finally loose.
Rob
Sorry if I read a bit too deep into it Oliver..
MrEmails
no probs Rob... I am glad you cared enough to post it and take it too heart.

Also Igwong is right. The industry is dying. No amount of innovating or the like will help us compete with sites that run at a lost and at the end of the day will probarly never pay there members...

If only people knew how much effort webmasters put in for such small rewards.

thanks

Oliver
Rob
Yeah, I know what you mean. I talk to GPT webmasters a lot through my GPTBoycott work, and a lot of them are CAC... finding it hard.

I want to wish every honest CAC webmnaster paying reasonable rates the best of luck.
MrEmails
Thanks for the wors of encouragement Rob. i wish everyone was like you.
