I have tried and tested many so called php editors. Not so good! Dreamweaver mx looks like paradise of web site creation and authoring and also for dynamic web site development. But its realy sluggish and buggy and not good for slow systems to quicky develop web sites and test them!!
Although dreamweaver 3-4 is fast enough but they dont support php or mysql like mx do. I saw pps saying homesite has both visual and coding environment for web site creation and has third party free add on for php mysql. But cant find an older version of homesite on web(not even trial) and 5.5 is only for coding i think no visual option!
Can i use php mysql in dreamweaver3-4 or i heard about ultra. does it supports php-mysql well? where is it??
If not php!! For asp Can anyone send me download link of pws(personal web server) for windows98se. I cant find it in my win98cdrom!! and pws that i find on web is for win95.
What about coldfusion?? Is it good? is there some free testing server for coldfusion?? Just want get experince in web site development. whole thing.
any help will be greatly appriciated.

not much editor with WYSIWYG capabilities of DreamWeaver i think you could AceHTML, but it's not comparable to DreamWeaver. try search it in CNET.COM
i don;t think PWS is downloadable, you could try search in microsoft website. or search in P2P network

edtors can handle HTML, dw is best. There really arent any PHP WYSISYG editors though, because it is such a diverse, dynamic langauge. I jjust taught myself a lot of both.
